Built in 1886, loads of character and charm! Offering 4 bedrooms (Master bedroom with queen bed, loveseat, and TV with Amazon Firestick and private bathroom, 1 BR with queen bed with desk and sitting chair, and 2 bedrooms with full-size beds, desk, and sitting chair). Front porch and screened-in back deck in the fenced-in backyard for your privacy. This home is fully furnished with all furniture and a full kitchen with pans, dishes, glassware, spices, and everything you need to cook. All linens and towels are provided.

A Great Weekend

We enjoyed our stay at the Powderhorn home -- it was beautifully decorated in old-time style and had plenty of room for the 3 of us. The rooms were all easily accessible, and plenty of room for a Sunday-morning brunch with our sons and their families. Although it is a very old home,several areas, particularly the kitchen oven, stove, and cabinets could nevertheless have been cleaner. All in all, however, it was a great stay!

Wonderful stay in an historic old home

We stayed at the end of August and even though it was hot outside, the house was quite comfortable. Another great thing about the house was it's location. It seemed like no matter where we wanted to go (downtown, to the river, to MOA..) it took us about 15 minutes to get there.

I am a special education teacher. I have been renting my Mpls home for a few years now off and on. I am available to help with anything guests might need. A property manager is also available close by. All snow removal and yard care are taken care of by the property manager.

Why they chose this property

This home is located in a great area close to Uptown, Downtown, the U of M, and 15 min from MSP airport. Walking distance to the Greenway bike trails, Eat Street, and many great restaurants. A five-minute drive to the Chain of Lakes, Uptown, and Downtown. Easy access to 35W freeway.

What makes this property unique

This home is on the historic registry. It was built in 1886. It is in immaculate condition. So much character and charm. Front porch and screened-in back deck with a private fenced-in back yard. Plenty of street parking right in front of the house. There is also a private garage available upon request for an additional $250 per month for each stall. (Two car stalls available) with remote garage door openers.
