Large unit in Kiel close to Road America/Elkhart Lake
The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place. This larger unit it located upstairs in a beautifully restored historic building in town so you can walk to local dinning and nightlife. Less than 10 minute drive to Elkhart Lake, Road America, 25-30 Kohler, Sheboygan, etc. & less than an hour to Milwaukee or Green Bay. Plenty of space with 2 bedrooms and 2 couches in the living room & a small office nook. Full kitchen, in unit washer and dryer, and more. 2 bedroom and separate office space. Living room and dining room area. Full washer and dryer in unit. I will not be onsite but am close enough if needed. *** Please note. This unit is only accessible by stairs. It is a 120+ year old building so please don’t expect the perfection and amenities of new construction but, enjoy the history, uniqueness, and clean area to stay *** There is parking available at the back of the building but when loading and unloading your belongings, I would suggest street parking upfront to make it easier for you. You can also park on the street but watch for the signs. The city does not allow overnight parking and they will ticket you.

Very spacious unit that is well laid out. Has everything you need and is close to everything in the area. Very clean too. Will stay again if in the area.
Great stay and communication! I had left feedback during a previous stay - suggesting things like longer light cords, and it was great to see them taken into consideration! Corey is easy to reach and takes feedback into consideration to make your stay better!
During our stay, the area received a dump of snow along with high winds. Snow removal was taken care of quickly and professionally! The rental itself was clean and cozy; perfect for waiting out the storm. Communication with the manager was easy and prompt. He answered all my questions and reached out during the storm to make sure our travels and stay were safe and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
Spacious, high ceilings, lots of natural light, clean, updated, quiet.
Might not be for those who can’t do stairs or have young child(ten). About 10 steps into building from back parking and steep 20 stairs up to unit. Mattresses were not comfortable (for us). Slanting floor felt weird.
But Kiel needs places for visitors and drawbacks aside the unit is bright and updated.

Hi Jennifer. I appreciate the feedback and am sorry you only gave a 3 star review. The building is over 120 years old and is registered historic so unfortunately, there was only so much that could be done with the flooring to make it as level as possible.
The beds mattresses are all brand new and supposed to be a nice middle ground of soft and firm but, I understand each person will have different likes and dislikes.
The stairs should have shown in the listing but, to be safe for future guests, I have ensured a picture and description are in the listing.
Thank you again.

Very clean but.....
It was very clean. Convient to Road America.
Very stark (cheap and uncomfortable) furnishings. Very over priced. Nothing "extra" 5 coffee pods for a very cheap coffee maker was all for example. Very steep stairs to enter. "Air conditioning works but consists of 1 split in the living room and a floor standing portable unit in the bedroom. I can see why it was available for late booking. Worth 1/2 of what we paid during high demand time..

Bob, I’m sorry you felt the need to write this sort of review instead of reaching out to me directly with any concerns. Especially since I did reach out day one to see how everything was going for you and you did not respond.
As far as the “cheap and uncomfortable “ furnishings, that’s your opinion but when the unit is fully furnished in a small town for short term rental, it might not be high end and over priced furniture but is surely is not cheap either. What you find uncomfortable, others find perfect for their visits.
In regards to the stairs, the listing specifically states the unit is upstairs, has a picture of the stairs, and states the historic building is over 120 years old. This is to be clear to anyone that might have issues with stairs when looking to stay. Just like with the AC units. What the units have is what the building is able to accommodate.
If you visit RA again, might I suggest an individual resort unit directly in Elkhart Lake opposed to a multi bedroom unit that is meant to accommodate larger groups. It will probably cost the same amount but, might be more of what you require.
