The apartment was exactly as pictured and described, and was a great deal for the price. The Tribeca neighborhood is excellent - lots of delicious restaurants, nice cafes, easy walk to downtown tourist locations, Brooklyn Bridge, Greenwich Village, SOHO, Chinatown, Little Italy, Lower East Side, etc. Great subway access too, so it is an easy commute to the museums uptown and Central Park. The neighborhood is very safe, as is the apartment. Perfect for a couple or family.

Fabulous Tribeca Loft
My husband, I and our two month old son stayed in this apartment for two weeks. It is comfotable, tastefully furnished and very convenient with all the amenities you could want - a well stocked kitchen (as if it were your own), a spacious clean bathroom, wifi and even a simple computer provided. The master bedroom had a comfortable bed and was spacious enough to accommodate our son's travel cot. There is also a smaller room with bunkbeds that is stocked with toys.
The location is excellent - right in the heart of Tribeca with many great restaurants nearby, and Soho is only a short walk away. The nearest subway station is only a block and a half away.
We will definitely recommend this place to our friends!

We always enjoy having families visit as the apt is very well thought out and designed with them in mind.
I had never been to NYC before. Finding this place on VRBO just before our trip was such a blessing. We had no trouble traveling from the airport via public transit to getting to the property and checking-in. I traveled with my wife and 2 kids (ages 11 and 8). The access to the subways was perfect for us. We never felt like the neighborhood was unsafe in any way. The place was clean and had plenty of amenities that we needed. We were able to do a couple quick loads of laundry with the shared laundry appliances in the hallway just outside. It was quiet and conveniently located. There are plenty of coffee shops within walking distance also. The hosts were very responsive which is reassuring when you are traveling across the country with your family. To the hosts - thank you for having us! To future guests - you won't regret your stay here.

Apartment in need of some work!
My review on the loft apartment in Tribeca. It was the most dated apartment I have ever stayed in. The price I paid, I expected a place a little more updated than what it was. The information sent to me had the most “do not’s” that made you feel very uncomfortable from the start.
On first arrival and opening the front door you were greeted with a good number of stairs. The hallway, quite grubby, I might add. Once up the stairs and going into the actual loft apartment, we were greeted with a pungent smell of mothballs. Inside the apartment that was advertised as a two bedroom, you found just a flimsy partition that divided the bedrooms. No privacy, one bedroom had a double bed and the other bunk-beds. Not ideal for two couples – as it states it sleeps 4 people.
The shower was very temperamental, hot water scolded us a few times, then ran cold, minor I understand, but not when you would like to shower without trying your best not to get burned. The pipes throughout the apartment are exposed, making way for lots of pipe noises when the heating came on. The one in the main bedroom was very hot, so be careful if you bring children in there.
It was quite stuffy inside the apartment and the “do not’s” continued with not to open the large windows and put the A/C on - there was no A/C (not that we found). So, you just have to wrap up in the morning and strip down in the evening, when it became stuffy.
Would I return to this apartment, absolutely not, would I recommend this apartment, absolutely not, unless you don’t mind what I have written about it.
The positive I can review about the apartment – good location, that's why I have given it two stars!

Our review average is 436 out of 6,293 with well over 100 lovely 5* reviews. We always suggest that guests read our other reviews. This person cleverly booked for 2 singles and was in fact 2 couples, which our listing clearly states we do not accept, as it is not a traditional 2 bedroom but a loft apt with 2 separate sleeping areas. We do however accommodate a couple with younger children. They broke some things and never contacted us other than to say everything was fine! We did not even charge them. They arrived in April and AC goes on in May. Heat is controlled by law in NYC which can get cold in winter and spring..

Great location, spacious and helpful
The renters were very accommodating helpful and responsive to all my questions and needs. The space is great, with washer and dryer and even detergent is there if needed! Free WiFi, the bed was comfy and the whole apt. was very comfy and in a great location. The promenade is only 4 blocks away and lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Would highly recommend! I travel back and forth to NY at least 1x/yr and will definitely be coming back here👍

Wonderful location!!
This apartment was perfect for our stay. It was special for us in that we attended a graduation and unit was within 1 block of all the festivities! The general location is wonderful with great access to go in any direction from Tribeca area on subway, taxi's and ride share platforms. It was well equipped and owner had guest suggestion letter and sight seeing information that was very detailed and accurate, down to suggestions for limo services back to the airports. We will definitely try to book this property on our next visit to NYC!

Last minute savior - great place for a family - great location
We made breakfast. All the kitchen stuff was perfect.
Bunk beds were fun for the kids.
Walked to 9/11 memorial from here - nice walk. Great food around. Close to good subway lines.
Adults bed was a little lumpy but I slept fine. Barriers were thin so you have to be quiet when kids fall asleep.
Was able to book us the day before when another host flaked. Very accommodating. Super nice.
Laundry was smaller stacked kind but worked well.
Got deposit back right away.

This walk up apartment was clean, comfortable, and in a great location in lower Manhattan.
We truly enjoyed our stay! The walk up gave us the feeling of being at home in NYC. It is nicely appointed with all the necessities which helped us to eat many healthy meals on our own during our weeklong stay. The apt. is steps from the subway and so the convenience can't be beat.

A nice and cosy apartment in good street
A nice and cosy appartement where one feels immediately at home. The well equipped kitchen saves expensive breakfasts and dinners. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe with a subway very nearby. The supermarket is one stop down the line, but worthwhile because it is a well stocked market.
An ample choice of restaurants is nearby. The delivery of the keys and communication with the owners went smooth.
Highly recommendable for a family.

Great stay in spacious and quiet Tribeca loft
I was in NYC for a week for work and vacation, and was delighted to have this loft as my home base. To start, the listing was accurate and the communication with the owner was great. Although I've rented apartments in the city before, it still makes me nervous, but I was reassured by emails and info that I received.
The loft itself is spacious, well-maintained and quiet. It is great to have the kitchen (vs. staying in a hotel) and the loft's kitchen was stocked with good cooking utensils and dishes. A big plus when staying in an apartment rental. Furnishing was tasteful, bed was comfortable and wifi worked great. Did I mention it is quiet?
Good Tribeca restaurants nearby, including Locanda Verde, which is dreamy.
I plan to stay here again! Highly recommended.

Great apartment
We've stayed in this apartment in May 2010. The place is spacious, well furnished, clean and really quiet. My kids really enjoyed it and so did we.
The owner was kind enough to give us a quick guide into the neighborhood and made sure we had everything we needed.
We'll surely stay there again on our next visit.
