Fantastic Stay at Palmetto Cottage!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent a week at Palmetto Cottage in Destin Pointe and had a fantastic stay! The house was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and incredibly well stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed, including lots of high-quality appliances and kitchen items.The bedrooms were comfortable, and we loved the multiple decks with great views. Having bikes available to ride around the neighborhood was a huge plus. The house also had tons of beach equipment, including a wagon, kayaks, paddleboards, and more.Destin Pointe itself is wonderful, with fantastic pools, beautiful beaches, and easy access to the jetty. Management company was quick with responses for any questions we had. We really enjoyed our week and would definitely recommend Palmetto Cottage!

DEstin Summer 2026

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect place for our family to meet this summer. Plenty of room and with all the amenities. Kitchen is stocked and frig very big. Tons of games and extras such as a wine frig. No need to bring beach chairs, beach toys, beach carts, etc as they have everything you would want. Big screen TV in LR is very nice and front porch a great view for fireworks on Thursday nights in Destin.

We had a wonderful time at Palmetto Cottage. The grandkids and their parents loved having access to the bicycles and kayaks and beach toys! It is a bit longer walk to the beach than listed in the description, but really wasn’t a problem for them- just for me with a bad knee. We loved the view on the back deck and loved staying in Destin Pointe Resort. Thank you!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The views from this location are great! Quiet views of the Gulf waters, fishing vessels, and the waterfowl on the pond. The house shows years of rental use, and the appliances were the cheapest possible replacements, but they sufficed. The included bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, and loads of passed-down beach toys were fantastic.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our experience at Palmetto Cottage was amazing! The house accommodated our group of 6 adults and 2 children. The kitchen was well supplied for all our cooking needs. The beach wagon was a blessing getting the children to the pools and beach. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. I would recommend the placement of a baby gate at the top of the stairs. The location of the house is very centrally located to all the pools and both beaches. Thank you.
