Rule like Ramesses in your SOHUD Egyptian palace featuring an arcade, shuffleboard, gym, art, 2 car garage, triclinium lounge, turfed yard & throne.

Modern amenities throughout - All bedrooms include smart TVs and adjustable smart beds. 3 private desks & computer. Private fenced backyard including lounge seating, propane grill, outdoor TV, yard games, pool table, gazebos, and a 20 ft granite dining table.
5 min to OSU, 12 min to airport or downtown. 15% off stays of a week or more.
• Four bedrooms, two full bathrooms.
• Smart TVs in the living room, dining room, backyard, gym and each bedroom, with access to any of your streaming subscriptions and complementary Sling TV service.
• Fully equipped kitchen with new stainless steel appliances.
• Desks in three of the bedrooms, perfect for work trips.
• Living room is equipped with 72" TV and laser light projectors.
• Combo washer/dryer if you need to do any laundry during your stay.
• Fenced-in backyard with outdoor TV and extensive seating, great for relaxing.

The Old North is the location for much of the off-campus housing for OSU. Most of the other properties in the area are student rentals. It’s safe and easily walkable and close to all the attractions Columbus has to offer.
CHECK IN: Check in is at 4 PM or later.
CHECK OUT: Check out is at 11 AM
CAMERAS: In order to prevent parties, there are two Ring cameras on the property that record all motion in the front and back yards. They are attached to the front door and back exterior wall of the house and face outward so they cannot record the interior of the house in any way.
PARKING: There are two off-street spots in our garage. In addition, you can find free on-street parking along either Adams Avenue or Tompkins Street

The house was perfect for our needs for the weekend. It was walking distance to many places to eat, and close to the OSU campus. The homecwas clean and the beds were very comfortable.

Eccentric and Fun stay!

We had a great time staying at the house. The kiddos had a great time staying at the house, the beds are super comfy. The only issues we noticed was the roof was leaking in the garage and the washer/dryer didn’t seal shut so the water leaked. Everything else was fantastic, location was great, and the stay was fantastic!

Great house!

We stayed here for a weekend trip to Columbus. We had a larger group and it accommodated us very well. The yard was awesome due to its size and having plenty of seating. Beds were nice as well. Location was great for our needs. I would recommend this place to anyone looking in the area. Thanks to Sam and his great communication as well!

Our teens loved the theme, the amenities and the vibe of the house.

It is definitely a themed property. Almost has an escape room feel. All in all, for the price this was a great house for our group of 4 adults and 7 teens. The kitchen is a bit small and it could use at least one more half bath but the ammenties, games, outdoor space and just fun of the house makes up for the short comings. We had a great time staying here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun time.

Unique but needs Upkeep

The images of this place were taken years ago. Since then, it’s evident there have been many parties at this place. Many of the amenities do not work, such as the outdoor speakers, cornhole, and more. Overall not the worst experience, but the images on the listing definitely oversell it.

Proximity to OSU's campus, Clintonville, downtown (straight shot down Summit or HIgh St.), and event center including Historic Crew Stadium. Proximate to, though well-insulated from, I-71.

Also, the character, resilience, quality and design of the historic housing inventory in SOHUD.

What makes this property unique

We meticulously and thoroughly renovated and modernized this century old craftsman. We added luxury conveniences, including a master suite, while integrating the home's original design with a classical era Egyptian theme throughout.

I love the sprawling first floor on the interior and private, fenced, turfed and heavily outfitted exterior.
