Vacation 2024

The house was extremely clean and was the perfect size for our stay. The location was excellent!! Out of the city lights and noise, perfect for relaxing, but still close to everything we wanted to do. We would definitely stay here again!

The only issue we had was there are not any lights on the walkway outside and we couldn’t see to get to our truck later in the day without flashlights. We did have a roach in the bathroom the day we left but other than that no pests. The house is beautiful and the perfect size. We will definitely come back here!

Lovely, little cottage

Location and check in was convenient and easy. Cottage decorations were beachy cute and kitchen had everything we needed. I had to clean floors and give some TLC to the bathrooms because floors still had sand on them.

Just Perfect!

The cottage is a home away from home- my husband and I had a wonderful stay- it was spotless and decorated so beautifully! It had all we needed👍 We walked to the gulf a couple times every day, morning and sunsets (which were beautiful) only an eight minute walk there! Two nice pools in Rookery, one super close to us. We also got see a lot birds from the porch- we didn’t want to leave!! Should mention just a short drive to many different places to eat, shop, state park. Peaceful place to come home to after busy day. We will be back!

Too Many No-See-Ums

The house was very clean, but the "no see um" biting bugs were horrible. We couldn't use the pool or hot tub without being bitten all over. The bites become swollen, hot and itchy. The house is located too close to a swampy area that breeds the bugs.

Wayne, Thank you for sharing the details of the unit being very clean for you upon arrival. As for its location and the "no see ums", unfortunately we do all we can do, along with the county, to keep them somewhat under control. They are only really bad at certain times of day, like at dusk or daylight. Also, each of these units are equipped with a screened porch for guests to be able to enjoy outdoors without having to battle these types of elements. We hope that despite the issue with the "no see ums" you experienced, that you enjoyed the beautiful beaches and great restaurants offered in this area.
