Poor communication from beginning to end of stay. Despite numerous attempts to get access code to enter the property at the beginning of our stay, did not receive beforehand and had to drive to destination not knowing if we would be able to enter. No welcome book - so another several hours on arrival dealing with how to determine access to wifi. No information about trash, recycling, or nearby attractions. Instead, this info, along with the now moot access code, arrived 3 days into our stay, and was not even the correct code. Wifi/router was inaccessible (in locked basement) so when internet went out, a whole afternoon was spent trying to get access / help to regain internet access. We were old to "daisy chain" extension cords in order to regain access, which seemed unwise. The access to the beach is about a 20 minute walk away - not accessible for elders or those with limited mobility. Some of this walk is on a local highway. The fire alarm went off two consecutive nights around 3am. On the second night, the Fire Department had to be called out to turn it off - around 4 am - and they were delayed in doing so because there is no visible signage on or near the house as to the address. This alone seems like a safety hazard. The interior of the house is spacious and comfortable, but it was hard to relax and unwind with the succession of problems, and the ineffecitve response to the problems once reported. Not recommended.
