Watanga Cabin is one of the oldest cabins at Arapaho Valley Ranch, dating back to the 1940s. It has been updated since then and is our largest cabin that can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people.

Watanga Cabin is one of our most private cabins, sitting near the front edge of the property. The cabin is conveniently located just a short walk from the historic lodge where you can shop for wood, ice, snacks and camping gear at our country store and enjoy games and a drink at The Red Dog Saloon.

The first floor has a living room with a couch, TV, dining area, newly renovated kitchenette, and newly renovated full bathroom. The first floor has two bedrooms, each with a queen size bed. The second floor has two sleeping areas, each with queen beds.

After a day of adventure, unwind in the cabin's wood burning hot tub!

To enhance your stay, a wide array of seasonal and year-round amenities is included with every reservation through our resort fee. All activities are available on a first-come, first-served basis. During the summer, dive into adventure with canoes, paddle boards, mountain bikes, fishing poles, hiking, and outdoor games like volleyball, horseshoes, cornhole, and ping pong. In winter, enjoy snowshoeing, sledding, and our ice-skating rink. Year-round, you’ll find comforts like complimentary coffee, Wi-Fi, and a variety of board games.
