Experience authentic Tahoe charm in this spacious 4-bedroom retreat located in the prestigious Dollar Point community. >
Boasting filtered lake views from nearly every window, this home features an expansive, sun-drenched deck perfect for morning coffee or evening BBQs. The interior offers two distinct living areas separated by a dramatic stone fireplace—ideal for families who want a bit of extra space to spread out. The fully equipped kitchen and large dining table make group meals a breeze.

The Layout:

Top Floor: Primary suite with Queen bed and full bath.

Lower Level: Two guest rooms with Queen beds, plus a third guest room with a trundle bed and a dedicated workspace.

The Location: A short drive to Tahoe City’s dining and shopping, and perfectly positioned for skiers heading to Palisades Tahoe or Homewood.

Pet-Friendly: We are happy to welcome your furry friends! This home is pet-friendly, so feel free to bring your dog along for your Tahoe adventure.

Please Note: This is a classic, older Tahoe home featuring rustic decor and taxidermy. In keeping with the mountain setting, guests should be comfortable with the home's authentic character. HOA amenities (pool/beach) are strictly reserved for stays of 31+ nights per local regulations. No A/C (standard for Tahoe).

For your convenience, this home includes a fully equipped kitchen, high-speed Wi-Fi, and an in-unit washer and dryer. We provide all linens and bath towels; most rentals have beach towels for your trips to the lake. Please note that while Tahoe’s mountain breeze and provided fans keep the home comfortable, there is no central A/C. To protect local wildlife, we do not stock pantry staples. Please also be aware that the deck and BBQ may be unavailable during the late fall, winter and early spring months due to snow.

This property was perfectly located between Tahoe City and Carnelian Bay/Kings Beach. Very comfortable with lots of space for our party of 5 with dog to spread out. The views were lovely and the house was very well appointed. The only issue was not being able to use the pool and tennis courts or the beach within the complex. That was a huge tease but there are plenty of public beaches in Tahoe to enjoy.

Very comfortable beds. We loved relaxing on the deck, with a view of the lake. As the listing states, it is a rustic home, but the layout worked great for traveling with our adult kids and the sauna was a nice bonus. Good location to walk down to the beach at Skylandia Park or head across N Lake Blvd to the Dollar Creek Trailhead. Would love to come back in the future.

Old school house that hasn’t been updated but very comfortable for a group of friends. I wish they’d upgrade to king size beds. We had a good stay - it worked for our group, especially for the money.

The home is in a fantastic location in Dollar Point. The house is spacious. You get a narrow view of the Lake from a couple of windows and from the upstairs deck. The home is very dated, but it's functional. Some challenges we ran into were related to the house being prepared for guests. We could not tell if the bear fence was on or off. The indicator light was not working. The cable box, wireless modem and TV was unplugged. I had to sort that out. The trash bin was full to the brim and not scheduled to be emptied until the day we left.

The property manager communicated well for our first Air B and B experience. Property clean, spacious and pet friendly with area in front and back to spend time with our dog. Excellent experience and well recommended.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was as described, “classic 1970s style decor, large moose head on the wall took the kids a while to get used to but overall everything worked (kitchen appliances, washer:dryer etc.) The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 for both the house and the rental agency:1. There are openings cut under the stairs , kids wondered what was under stairs , opened door to closet accessed via garage and there were a couple dead mice stuck in traps that had not been removed by whoever put the traps out. With hantavirus being more common , probably a good idea to have the traps cleaned prior to renters arriving . 2. Rental agency uses a variety of digital assistance. The phone line is often answered by an AI agent who is not quite ready for “prime time”. Does not understand detailed questions and said it would “take a message” and have someone get back to me but that never occurred. Because the agency uses 3rd party for booking and I believe some other function, it’s difficult to search for the agency name in emails to double check on communication .

Love This Retro Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was spotless, well appointed with kitchen wares, linens etc. The sauna was so nice to relax in. The only complaint was master bed was old. The other beds were great. We would definitely stay here again!!

Property was accessed by bears the night before the stay. We were not informed until late afternoon. A switch of locations occurred with help of property management. Replacement was great but not the same atmosphere.
