About the host

This cabin has been a dream in the making for many years. We met in 2008 and had lots of adventures before we welcomed our daughter into our lives in 2015. Our family became complete a few years later with our sweet golden retriever, Cosmo. We have lived in Asheville for approximately 10 years and love all that the surrounding area has to offer. We have put our hearts into this cabin and hope you will enjoy the beauty and serenity it offers.

Why they chose this property

This cabin sits on 2 wooded acres. It is surrounded by rhododendron covered mountainside and has a delightful mountain stream running along the edge of the property. It is peaceful, quiet, and connected to the natural beauty that surrounds it.

What makes this property unique

The craftmanship of the cabin is unparalleled. The mountain laurel railing and chandelier were expertly crafted from deadfall on the property. The tiled mosaic wall behind the wood-burning stove leads your eye up to windows that overlook the interior living space from the upstairs bedrooms. The walls and doors are sold ash wood and the skylights allow for beautiful natural light.
