The home was in a great location, close to restaurants, highways and downtown. The reclining sofas were cozy and made every evening feel like home! The home was well stocked with everything you would need. The creek out back was relaxing to listen too. The fenced area was secure and worked great for our Shiba Inu. We would definitely stay again!
The backyard was amazing!!! The creek was beautiful! The house was perfect had what we needed and furniture was comfy! The home is on a fairly busy road so the backyard was a nice escape!
We enjoyed our stay. I did not bring any pets. The house was fully stocked with everything you need. The beds were comfortable. The creek behind the house was relaxing to sit and listen to. The host answered questions that I had quickly. This house is close to restaurants and easy to get to anywhere you wanted to go.
Really enjoyed our time in Waynesville and at Richland Creek Retreat! The house was lovely and conveniently close to downtown and restaurants. The backyard is fantastic, and we enjoyed the sounds of the creek. The house was stocked with everything we needed, and it was nice that the linens and towels were provided.

Thank you so much. You were the perfect guest, I appreciate that you communicated with me and tidied up as you exited. And you and your family are welcome back anytime!
Very pet friendly. Loved the fenced in area for our dog. The kitchen was great. Everything we needed for cooking a family dinner. Then there was the fire pit by the creek. Everyone enjoyed the weekend.
Great place to stay. Roomy house with everything you need to relax and enjoy sitting out by the creek. Gated deck connected to a spacious gazebo and a fenced in side yard make it the perfect place if you want to bring your small dog along. Updated appliances in a fully stocked kitchen that has everything you need to cook a meal if you wish.Quick drive to shops and restaurants.
Cozy, clean and comfortable… close to town with a wonderful backyard right on the creek is how I would describe this lovely cottage. Thanks for sharing your home it us, we had a wonderful time in Waynesville.

A great location in the wonderful town of Waynesville. I particularly loved the gazebo, the flowers, and the deck. My kids really enjoyed the access to the creek! If you don’t mind cold water, it’s a great place to swim and walk the rocks. Pretty much everything we needed was available or close by to bw gotten quickly enough.

Thank you for your kind words, and for taking such good care of the house.
This home has lots of amenities. We enjoyed having morning coffee by the creek before getting on with our day. The kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfy amd the fenced in area is very secure if you have sneaky pets. We did not bring our dog but I appreciated the owner’s attentiveness to that as we have had issues at every pet friendly location. Also, it’s a short walk to lots of ahops and restaurants.
Absolutely phenomenal little spot in close proximity to all the best parts of the area. The only reason I have to give 3 stars on cleanliness is that the cleaners didn’t show up so the home hadn’t been cleaned when we arrived, but the owner was wonderfully communicative and apologetic and did everything they could to remedy the situation while we explored downtown.
Will definitely be coming back next time we’re in the area!

Thank you for your understanding, Even the best of cleaning staff can slip up on the calendar every once in a while. I’m glad we were able to take care of the situation promptly. Look forward to having you back.
The good: like stepping into grannies house. 1. Cute personal touches2. Love the recliner couches3. Love the couch blankie4. Love the outside gazebo and the running Brooke behind the houseThe not so great: this is not a “naked” house1. The shower has a full window that points towards an apartment complex, we had to tape a garbage bag to be comfortable taking a shower2. The windows have sheer curtains on them so changing clothing in the bed room I’ll advised if you’d like the neighbors to not see

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. It never occured to me this might bother some people because, especilally Since the apartments are a across the river and a long distance away, and completely obscured in the summertime by foilage. In order to make things more comfotable I have installed room darking drapes, and a Privacy stencil over the bathroom window. The blinds in the front living room pull all the way up and down for full Privacy, but maybe you did not realize this. Thank you again for bringing it to my attention. I issue has been resolved.
While the property had pretty much everything we needed, it really needs to be deep cleaned and the comforters and sheets need to be replaced. Just a little modernizing would go a long way. Lightning in kitchen was best ever, all appliances worked great. Had some really cute end tables and decor. The outside gazebo and porch could have used a good blowing off before we arrived, it is a beautiful area with the creek flowing by. The house is close to many restaurants and shopping. We really enjoyed our two weeks and with the exceptions noted above, would be happy to return.x

Thank you for your feedback. You and I have subsequently communicated so I could learn what detailing you felt needed to be addressed if that was taken care of. I recently purchased new bedding, and there were additional blankets available that you are not aware of. I have provided my direct contact. I would have a immediately come over and take care of any small details. We are a small privately managed home and Pride ourself on making sure our clients are happy and provide five star service. It’s really important to reach out and let the owner know while you’re still at the property and we will take care of any small issues you have. I hope that you will visit again and I do appreciate your feedback.
