This is the second time I have stayed here and this time I was traveling solo. It is one of my favorite places to stay because it is clean and simple with several thoughtful touches. And the backyard just cannot be beat.

This property was very clean, and had everything we needed. Lots of extra towels and bathroom linens. This is a very quiet location. Easy adjacent parking, and a lovely setting. I found the Queen bed to be very comfortable. There are some pubs and food outlets within walking distance. We didn't use the dishwasher, but was happy there was a wonderful washer/dryer set for us to use.

The hosts were excellent and were very attentive to any needs we had. The fire pit was awesome! The price was very reasonable. It was a little smaller than I thought it would be but we made it work and had a great time.

We stayed at the Riverside Retreat while taking a three day guided fishing trip. While the exterior of the building is a bit worn, the interior is updated, clean and well appointed and was just right for our use.
