Spacious & Comfortable Layout
Coyote Cabin features 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, offering plenty of room for families and small groups.

On the entry level, you’ll find a queen bedroom, a second bedroom with two brand-new extra-long twin beds (the same length as a queen), and a cozy bunk/laundry room that’s perfect for small kids. This floor also includes a full bathroom for convenience.

Upstairs, the primary suite offers a comfortable California king bed and private bath, along with an open-concept living area, dining space, and kitchen. Gather around the fire, share a meal, or enjoy a movie night after a fun-filled Tahoe day. An additional half bath upstairs adds extra comfort and convenience.

The updated kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, Keurig, and a well-stocked selection of cookware and utensils — guests always compliment how easy it is to cook here!

Location & Nearby Attractions
It’s just a short drive to the main shopping and dining area of King’s Beach, and with Safeway less than a mile away, grocery runs are quick and easy. When it’s time for mountain adventures, you’re perfectly situated — Northstar and Palisades Tahoe ski resorts are only 10 to 25 minutes away, offering world-class skiing and snowboarding for all levels.

For parking and storage, there’s a small garage that can fit one car or be used to store bikes, kayaks, and ski gear. The driveway accommodates up to three cars, making it easy for families to come and go. In summer, the garage is often stocked with beach and outdoor equipment, so plan to park in the driveway during those warmer months.

4th of July Getaway

Our stay at this beautiful and clean Tahoe house was fantastic. The hosts responded quickly to our questions and were very welcoming. Activities abounded for this special week, so walking to concerts on the beach, kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking and biking were within steps out the door. We highly recommend this special vacation house.

Cozy home for Tahoe getaway

My husband, daughter and I had a really enjoyable and relaxing stay here this week. Joyce was a helpful, attentive host, and the home had everything we needed- the kitchen was very well outfitted- we cooked all meals in on this trip. Skied Northstar 15 minutes away and had fun snowshoeing in the North Tahoe Regional Park 5 mins away. Would love to stay again in the future!

We had another enjoyable stay - we were 4 adults and 1 teen. We skied Northstar one day, and it was fun being “snowed in” the next - kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals, and the home was very cozy. The recent upgrades including flooring, kitchen and fireplace are beautiful. Hope to stay again soon!

Wonderful location close to lake, activities

The cabin was nicely appointed and had everything we needed for a weeklong stay with 2 children. There is a large park right down the street with trails, playground, etc. Beach is just a short walk down the street and the garage had chairs, toys, and a cooler to use for beach days. Grocery is very close, ice cream shop, restaurants nearby as well. This was one of the best stocked kitchens I have ever seen in a VRBO home.

Great family ski vacation!

We stayed at the cabin and skied at Northstar. It was very convenient to get and from the ski resort. You don't have to drive through the traffic that comes from Truckee. The cabin is in excellent shape. We really enjoyed our stay. Our crew was me, my wife, our two kids and three of their friends (a total of 7 people). We were very comfortable and their was plenty of space for all of us. The host is very responsive to all communications. We will definitely be staying here again.

Pictures and descriptions of the property on the website were very accruate. Plenty of room for 6 people with limited space for 8 people. Well stocked kitchen, large deck, great BBQ. Space was properly cleaned after the prior guest but carpets could use a more thorough cleaning. Quiet neighborhood and great location near the lake and ski resorts. Nice to have a garage and laundry area. The host was very helpful and responsive.

This place was at great location, close to NorthStar, Safeway, the lake etc. summer time must be even better. It is on quite street. But the pictures were not so acurate and not updated. They had new counter but cabinets and everything else were old. We were very disapponted that housekeeping was poor and place was not super clean.

Excellent adventure at Agatam Lodge home

We just came home from an excellent adventure over the Jan 7-9th weekend. This home was lovely, each bed was reported to be so comfy with quality linen (clean and fresh), emaculant cleaning upon arrival. We ended up having 8 in our party and there was ample room in this home. Plenty of water for showers for everyone. All cooking utentisils were there and in good condition, big refrigerator and lots of cupbord storage. Has a great dishwasher, and washer/dryer. Best of all was the convienance to all activities in the Tahoe area. the kids were taken to Northstar (10 miles away) or they walked 1 block to the beach to watch the sunset. Grocery store was 2 miles away (safeway) and local restraunts nearby. We drove to incline village to bowl (awesome time again), and the neighborhood was beautiful, quiet and clean. Booking, checking in and out was a breaze, Joyce was wonderful to work with. Each person that came on this trip asked to do this again in the summertime as this cabin is perfect for winter or summer fun. I have booked plenty on VRBO and you never know what your really getting, i can honestly say that all the photo's and comments were very helpful and what was advertized was exactly what we got. Also... the wireless internet was awesome for all the kids with their wireless items, TV worked great with our Wii and plenty of room to play it. The open concept kitchen living space was the best so everyone could be involved in the entertaining.

Cozy home next to King's beach

We had a great experience staying at this cabin. The cabin was very conveniently located and a cozy place for our family of six adults and two kids. The heating was great. We especially appreciated the toys and games available for kids and adults. The gas fireplace in the living room was pretty good. We had ample bedding and the comforters were really warm. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes and kitchenware except that we could have really used a hotpot instead of the slow cooker, and the rice cooker was too small for the family. The only thing we didnt like was that the room onn the right, first floor had a really squeaky spring mattress, although it was comfortable.

Family Ski Trip

We were very pleased with the house. Location is excellent - a short (less than 5 minutes) walk to the lake. A short drive to the stores and restaurants in Tahoe Vista. My husband and I live in San Jose, and have been renting our vacation home in Tahoe for many years. We often have our guests tell us that staying in our home is more like enjoying a friend's Tahoe Cabin than a rental house. I make it our policy to provide you a beautifully clean, nicely decorated Tahoe Style home for your mountain vacation, winter or summer, and we have many return guests every year. Our daughter Maddy is now managing the home for us.

Why they chose this property

Agatam Lodge is located in Tahoe Vista, between King's Beach and Tahoe City, just up the rise from the neighborhood beach. The walk to the beach takes just a few minutes, and is easy and safe for even little kids, with a stoplight for the crosswalk to the beach. The beach is usually calm, with an onshore breeze, and is shallow for a ways out for safe beach play. Rent kayaks and SUPs here, too! This is also the public boat launch if you are bringing your boat.
The house sits back from the street giving our house and high deck a lot of privacy. There is a filtered lakeview from the front deck.
Location,location,location!
This home is located in between Northstar and Palisades Tahoe for winter fun,. It is about 10 minutes to the turnoff to Northstar, and 20 minutes to Palisades Tahoe.
There are great hiking trails right up the street, going into the North Tahoe Regional Park.
Grocery shopping is less than a mile away at Safeway in King's Beach.

What makes this property unique

Only 1 Block walk to the Beach!! Walk to several great restaurants in Tahoe Vista. Great location for skiing Northstar and Palisades Tahoe. Right up the street are trails for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter.
There is a sledding hill near the house at the North Tahoe Regional Park off of National Ave. Also pickleball and tennis courts, baseball diamonds, disk golf, and a playground there, too, for summer fun.
