Unsurpassed mid valley location. Riverfront home with private flyfishing. 25 minutes to Aspen or Snowmass, 20 minutes to Aspen Highlands Ski resorts.

Very warm and peaceful home with natural beauty in all directions. Home is situated on a high riverbank with stunning 180 degree views of the Roaring Fork River as it flows through the 5 acre parcel. Unobstructed views of the Elk Mountain Range. Private Gold Medal fishing on the property. Outstanding year round dry fly fishing on the adjacent Frying Pan River. The Crystal River and the Colorado River are also nearby.

The 3800 sq ft. home includes unobstructed views of the Elk Mountains from nearly all rooms. A large den with large screen plasma TV, Blu-Ray, and sound system is central to the three lower floor bedrooms, each of which have a queen bed. The master suite and bath offers a king size bed, privacy and river views. A wonderful screened outdoor living room is perfect for summer evening get togethers. Fall asleep to the babbling of the river. Gorgeous landscaping includes spacious lawns and surrounding pastures. Hot tub overlooking the river.

Local bicycling is second to none with numerous dedicated bike paths. Endless opportunities for outstanding mountainbiking. Bike along the Roaring Fork River to Woody Creek and Aspen. River rafting is a popular activity and a great way to experience the outdoors. Other attractions include numerous superb restaurants and outstanding art galleries. A first-class grocery market, gourmet restaurants and movie theaters are within 1 mile.

Ski Snowmass and other Aspen resorts are an easy 25 minute drive up the highway. Sunlight Ski Resort just 20 minutes away. 1 hour to Beaver Creek and Vail just beyond. Visitors will also appreciate the sleeping comfort associated with the lower elevation (6400 ft. vs 8000 ft. at Aspen) as well as a warmer, sunnier climate.

Great home for a family vacation or a very private getaway.

Abundant wildlife and natural beauty. The surrounding natural features include red rock cliffs set against bluebird skies. Cottonwoods and pinion give way to the higher aspen and pine groves. Bald eagles are seen regularly fishing the river in winter months. Elk and deer are common sightings on the property. This property borders the Rock Bottom Ranch, a 114 acre nature preserve maintained by the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies.

A number of outstanding public golf courses are within an easy drive. Lakota Links was recently cited as the number one public course in Colorado. River Valley Ranch is also outstanding as are the Aspen City and Ironbridge courses.

20 minutes to Aspen Airport. One hour to Vail-Eagle airport. 45 minutes to Rifle Jet Center.

The perfect mid valley location. Warm and sunny at 6400 feet elevation. Views range from riparian riverfront and surrounding pinion and red rock up into the aspen and pines on surrounding mountains.

What makes this property unique

An excellent home for a family retreat or romantic getaway. Expansive views of the Elk Mountains from the deck and lawns. Sweeping elevated views of the Roaring Fork River from home and deck perched 60 feet above river level. Elk, bear, bald eagles, osprey and herons are common sightings from the deck.
