Beautiful newly refurbished, fully furnished second-floor 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment in the heart of Oakmont. Private entrance. Master bedroom is fully furnished with a separate bath. Second bedroom is equipped with a twin bed and as an office with a treadmill, yoga mat, and weights for the tenants use. Large living room equipped with an electric fireplace and large-screen television. All utilities included including Verizon FIOS internet access and Wi-Fi. Large newly refurbished/equipped kitchen with a full-size stove, refrigerator, microwave, Keurig, and an air-fryer/rotisserie.

Nice little place in a nice neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay and the property was clean and ready for us before we even got there :) Neighborhood was quiet and super easy to walk around. We will stay again if we come back to the area.

Nice stay

The location was perfect. Its a sweet older home - very "Pittsburgh". It has a kind of place-you-rent-in-college vibe, but was just what we needed. Would definitely stay here again

We had a great stay at Denise's apartment in Oakmont. It was located in a quiet neighborhood of the village very close to the Oakmont country club where we were volunteering for the US Open. Our host was super accommodating and incredibly responsive to all of our questions and requests. Apartment was not glamorous but very comfortable and quaint. The inground pool was an added bonus! Would definitely stay there again if our travels bring us back to Pittsburgh.

Lovely place

We had four of us that stayed here overnight. It was such a lovely place and neighborhood. It’s a great neighborhood if you want to go for a walk, there’s a river nearby that you can walk along. Denise was a great host, we arrived earlier than expected and she had everything ready for us. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

A Singular Experience

Lodging unlike we have experienced in decades of travel. Denise, the hostess, was nicely accommodating to our needs. A caution, however, to anyone elderly with luggage: there are 12 outdoor wooden steps and eight indoor steps to access the apartment.

Good stay

The stay was great. The only problem was when we arrived the temperature was 60 degrees in the house. When we reached out to the owner we did not hear back until the morning that we left. Thank goodness we found space heaters to use. Otherwise we love Oakmont and the house was a great location.

Thank you for taking great care of the apartment. I totally apologize for the heating issue. That was the first cool weekend we have had in a while and I forgot to let you know about the space heaters plus I should have had the temperature up a bit higher.

Location is great. Nice and quiet. The place needs a serious cleaning and an update . What furniture there is, is terribly uncomfortable and broken. Kitchen is dirty. No plates. Has 3 portable AC units and one through the wall unit. They barely keep up on a 90 deg day. Bathtub was dirty with hair in it, (not mine)…never again.

Host was gracious and the property is conveniently located in a quiet area right off the main road in Oakmont. The in-ground pool was lovely for a morning swim. On the other hand, the entire place could have used a good cleaning, and straightening There were no comfortable places to sit in the living room. It was super hot in Pittsburgh the week we were there and the portable air conditioner in the living room was not only very loud, it struggled to keep the air cool. The smoke alarm went off one morning (no smoke anywhere) - likely because it was out-of-date - we checked and it was 17 years old. Overall, the place would benefit from a bit more attention.
