About this property
Cargo District - Experience Wilmington Like a Local
From the front porch swing to the repurposed sewing machine vanity this baby blue bungalow is packed with charm and comfort. As much as you may want to relax in the backyard all day, I highly recommend exploring the area. Within a half-mile radius you will find beautiful historic homes, 2 county parks and numerous local restaurants, bottle shops, and a local distillery which offers live music on the weekends. For the relaxing evenings in there is a grocery store less than a mile away and the kitchen has all of the cooking utensils you will need. Feel free to listen to a vinyl in the collection on the record player, or you can visit Gravity Records just down the road to find your own gem. Also nearby are vintage thrift stores, the Downtown Riverwalk, and Independence Mall. Of course, it would be an injustice not to mention that the beach only a 15 minute commute. This home is perfect for an entertainment packed vacation, or a peaceful home away from home. Cleanliness and comfort is our top priority. Fresh linens, towels, and furniture covers will be provided with every stay.

Hi, My name is Tylor and I have been a real estate professional since 2016. My background is mainly in sales, however I have turned a focus towards investing over the past 5 years. I am very passionate about my fondness for Wilmington NC. I have lived in Wilmington since 2011, I graduated from UNCW in 2015, and to this day I still find new hidden gems that this city has to offer. Please reach out to me for any recommendations during your stay. I would be happy to help.
Why they chose this property
This home was renovated top to bottom, inside and out during the winter of 2021-2022. Updates include: roof, hvac system, all electrical, all plumbing, cabinets, floors, shower tile, appliances, backsplashes, astroturf back yard, and more. I rebuilt and designed this home to fit the vibrant character of the neighborhood, and downtown Wilmington from the bright exterior colors to the repurposed Franklin sewing machine that is now the bathroom vanity. All of the art in the home is made by local artists, or myself. The drop leaf kitchen table was refurbished specifically for this home. This home was viewed as more of an art project than an investment.
What makes this property unique
Location, Location, Location. This neighborhood has beautiful homes throughout, and sidewalks. As you venture you will find 2 city-maintained parks, and you will likely wonder your way into the End of Days Distillery, Mess Hall Burgers, or one of the popular shops in the Cargo District. Unique benefits specific to the house would be the fenced in astroturf backyard. The turf is beautiful year-round, pets love it, and it keeps dirt and sand at a minimum. Also, I highly recommend coffee on the front porch swing. Especially if there is a light rain. Perfect.
