About this property

Clintonville Classic - OSU, Short North, Nature

When visiting Columbus, do yourself a favor by staying in the quaint and eclectic neighborhood of Clintonville. Centrally located in Columbus, and minutes from OSU, Downtown and the Short North, Clintonville Classic is nestled at the entrance of the beautiful (and haunted?) Walhalla Ravine. Close to shops and restaurants, this quintessential 1930 home, is perfect for the traveler who doesn't want to worry about a thing, have plenty of living space, and sleep in comfortable beds, and enjoy.

Clintonville Classic features a spacious two story floor plan with hardwood floors, the glow of natural light throughout, cozy furniture, and all the amenities a traveler could need. Large living room with plenty of seating, front-room sitting area with couch and desk, and dining room with a table for 8. Enjoy the fully stocked kitchen and a cup of Joe from the coffee bar. The home features two full bathrooms, for guests convenience. Enjoy the HUGE master bedroom with TV, desk, and privacy. Second floor laundry makes your life easier without having to lug your laundry all throughout the house.
The private home has a yard, and a long (although quite narrow) driveway that can fit up to four cars. There is also street parking available. The two-car garage has been converted into a Clubhouse, with comfy couches, dining table, 65" TV, and a foosball table. Roll the garage door up, and enjoy the perfect spot for gathering with friends or tailgating before the game. We are always on the search to add more fun décor and games to the Clubhouse, so it's an ever-changing work in progress.
When outside, we ask that you PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE OF THE NEIGHBORS WITH REGARD TO NOISE, LIGHT, AND QUIET HOURS. Reminder there is no smoking in the property, including in the Clubhouse. Even with the garage door open, the smoke can cling to the fabric of the couches.

Guests have access via electronic lockbox with private individual code provided before check in. Guests will have access to all living areas, and Clubhouse garage. Basement is restricted for storage.

Guests will be well informed of all necessary information prior to check in through in app messaging. We pride ourselves in our communication! Please feel free to ask any questions you may have and expect a quick response!

Clintonville is a neighborhood known for its unique and interesting architecture, vintage shopping and stylings, a rich history, and amazing nature experiences. While centrally located in Columbus, there are multiple preserved glacial ravines, including Walhalla Ravine, widely considered one of the most beautiful walks in Columbus, with rock formations, creek, well-wooded hills, and tasteful architecture.

Clintonville is home to many great local independent restaurants, breweries, shops, as well as a Columbus favorite, Studio 35 Cinema and Drafthouse (2 minute walk from Clintonville Classic). With all these great localized opportunities, Clintonville is still so close to many of Columbus' main attractions such as Ohio State University/Hospital, Downtown, the Short North as well as a short drive to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.

Visitors shouldn't miss a walk (or at least a drive!) through Walhalla Ravine, a visit to The Park of Roses, or Overbrook Ravine park, if looking for a nature escape.

Clintonville is a true Columbus treasure, do yourself a favor and come visit!

Clintonville Classic has easy access to major highways I-71 as well as 315. There are #4 bus stops a minute away from the home which runs directly downtown and back, as well as shops, restaurants, and bars within walking distance. Take a walk around the quiet residential neighborhood, and through the beautiful wooded Walhalla Ravine.

Driveway is narrow, so be careful when pulling in and out. Limited street parking also available.

Family Wedding in Columbus
What a great house! Sarah was expeditiously responsive to all queries! Can’t say enough good things!! With 2 pianists in the family, the console piano was a bonus! The stocked board games also a big hit with us. Bitter cold precluded any Foozball, but what a great addition that can be!!! Thanks Sarah for an awesome and memorable family weekend due in large part your awesome place! Very convenient to fun stuff within walking distance or short drive!

Fantastic home in Clintonville--3 BRs, great for group!
I stayed here with two friends from the Ohio State Law School (graduated in 1982), and it was FANTASTIC! Perfect for our group, comfortable, in a lovely neighborhood, and so well furnished. Really outstanding -- perhaps my best VRBO property yet. I'll be back!

Weekend Getaway
We were in Columbus visiting my daughter who goes to OSU and going to a football game. Your home was spacious and comfortable. We especially enjoyed taking walks in the neighborhood and the coffee bar being well stocked. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Great home for Columbus visit
What a nice place to stay! Lovely inside spaces, clean and comfy throughout, and set up well for a group to enjoy. Great trails and neighborhoods to walk and run nearby, and it's easy to get to other parts of Columbus. We had a little AC glitch, and the owners had people heading to work on it within minutes of our call. Excellent experience and I'd stay there again without hesitation!
