RVA offers Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort. Located beach front on beautiful Longboat Key, this resort offers all the amenities of a large hotel with the privacy and seclusion that has Silver Sands guests returning each year. Relax on our private beach, walk on our soft white sand, take a dip in our heated beachside pool, or enjoy a complimentary chaise lounge and beach umbrella while breathing in the fresh salt-water air. Practice your golf game on our putting green or relax on our beautiful beach with your favorite novel. Wireless Internet access is available in the privacy of your individual unit, at the garden area or on the pool deck, so guests can read email, surf the Internet and soak up the Florida sun all at the same time!



Limited Membership Privileges: Guests of Silver Sands #232 will have temporary membership privileges at Cedars Tennis Resort located at 645 Cedars Court on Longboat Key. The limited temporary membership allows the guest access to fully-lit Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts (after 1 p.m. daily and subject to availability), community bicycles and Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool. The guest will also have access to the community fitness center.

This room is right next to the office so no beach or pool view but just a short walk. We had a group of theee ladies. Bed was comfy and sofa bed was comfortable for one. We appreciated the provided beach lounge chairs.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a last minute addition to our trip and we were lucky that we found a gem of a place to stay! Silver Sands is a great location, close to great restaurants and grocery shopping if you decide to eat in. Kitchen was well supplied with cooking utensils. Very clean! Nice pool area as well as a perfect beach access with chairs and umbrellas for guests use.We will definitely plan to stay here again!

Great beach access. Central location on the island. Not overcrowded. Ground floor unit was in good shape considering the hurricane in 2024.Bedroom could use blackout curtains (it gets bright in there in the AM) and the road noise was a bit loud.

Always enjoy staying at Silver Sands. Quaint and clean. Staff is helpful and attentive. The pool is great. The complex sits right on the beach. The beach is great and never overcrowded. Location is very close to several great restaurants and St. Armand Circle which is great for shopping and dining.

Great weekend getaway for 2

The room itself was clean and was well decorated with a beachy vibe. It was a perfect location for 2 people to spend a couple days at the beach with access to some good local restaurants . The property itself is a bit outdated but it’s hard to beat the location.

Old school Longboat Key Resort

Very quiet and beautiful resort, love the screened in porches and full kitchens! Pool was very clean, as was the rest of the property. Nothing fancy, but I personally like that, and the short stroll to the beach is absolutely beautiful! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful,also.

Great place to stay with private beach

This condo is everything it was represented to be. Beautiful beach. Pool is very clean, warm and inviting. Condo is clean. It is an older unit, not a super luxurious feel, but very accommodating and comfortable. Location is great for walking, beachcombing, convenient to dining. Bed is very comfortable. Would stay here again.
