About this property
New! Charming Cottage on Forest Hills Estate
This centrally-located new high-end cottage is a perfect home away from home.
The space
This brand new and gorgeous 1200 square-foot guest cottage is located within a historic estate on Market Street. Our family of 5 lives in the main house. The cottage is totally private with a shared driveway. The listing is new; I am a seasoned Airbnb “Superhost” with multiple listings and hundreds of 5-star reviews. The cottage is a unique and beautiful, comfortable space with a fantastic kitchen, two bedrooms two bathrooms plus a dedicated office. The furnishings are high-end, with a nod to mid-century stylings. The beds are brand new and comfortable. This is a space best suited for visiting professionals who want to be close to downtown/the airport/shopping. It is comfortably equipped for four but does not feel too large for one or two. We are located an acre of land on Market Street, set back from the road. Outside there is a hum of Market St. traffic but inside it cannot be heard. Beautiful mature trees all around the property give the cottage a nestled-in feel. Plenty of parking, in close proximity to the airport, downtown. 15 minutes to Wrightsville Beach.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire cottage which is a private dwelling unattached from the main house. Parking is plentiful and shared with main house.
Other things to note
This is not a pet friendly space. It is located at the intersection of 26th and market Street. Visitors should have a car or plan to Uber downtown which is about a five minute drive.

About the host
Hosted by ania Welin

I’m Ania. I live with my family in Wilmington and have been a host for 10 years.
Why they chose this property
We love the Forest Hills neighborhood. My husband was raised in this neighborhood and after exploring the world a bit we decided to move back here and raise a family. This older stately and historic neighborhood is arguably one of the prettiest in Wilmington and central to everything in town.
What makes this property unique
This charming cottage is beautifully furnished and comfortable. It is located on our acre+ property and we live in the main house. The cottage is tucked in the trees and totally private.
