The place was perfect for us - tidy, private, quiet, and close to the U of A campus. We stayed four nights and had excellent communication with the owner, Marcus. We highly recommend this spot and plan to stay here on our next trip.
Property is totally as described, very close to university of Arizona and is great for one to two people. Has everything you need and I will definitely stay here again when in Tucson!
This was the perfect place for me and my husband to visit University of Arizona.

Clean property. Excellent communication with host. Awkward layout but worked well as I was only there to sleep. Only negative is that there was no bedding further fold out sofa.

Glad to know your stay with us was comfortable. As described in the description, there is no fold out sofa. Additional bedding and linens are available upon request. Thank you.
The only thing I would warn is that this is more a studio than a one bedroom apartment. It was sparkling clean and the location could not have been better!! I will absolutely stay here again!!
I appreciated that this place was close to hiking trails like Painted Hills Park and Tucson Mountain Park. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. When I needed a toaster, the owner had a new one there within a couple hours. It was easy to get to groceries and restaurants.
My wife and I stayed for a week for a Tucson vacation. It was a cozy place to stay with a close and convenient parking space. It was a quiet area. Everything worked well and the king bed was very comfortable. The host was very responsive to some minor requests we had. We would like to return some time to visit Tucson again and stay at the Carriage House.
I rented this location for University of Arizona events, very convenient walk to the stadium! A perfect casita if you’re looking for some thing convenient and quaint. I will definitely rent from this property when I return to Tucson again

We arrived in Tucson @7 pm. We located the Carraige House. It was very sketchy looking, almost ghetto like. Upon entry, my husband discovered it was all cinder block. We called our host, we told him we were not staying. We found a hotel for the night, hoping to find a more suitable accommodation for our week long stay. We ended up spending twice the amount, as the host refunded 110.00 of the 700.00 we paid. We were willing to split the cost.

Per our phone conversation, your husband indicated he was expecting to stay in the Foothills area closer to family. However, the reservation was for a historic neighborhood located just two streets from the University of Arizona, as clearly stated in the listing description and map at the time of booking 30 days earlier.
The neighborhood is safe and well established, with families, professionals, and university affiliates. The property itself was accurately represented in the listing, and no material misrepresentation occurred regarding location or surroundings.
Additionally, contrary to your statement, the landscaping crew was present on-site the following morning of your departure, including at the time you drove off. This service disruption claim is therefore not supported by the facts.
As the home was occupied as reserved and no listing inaccuracies or safety issues were identified, the stay does not qualify for a partial or full refund under standard cancellation or guest guarantee policies. Nonetheless, a $100 courtesy credit was voluntarily issued as a goodwill gesture to acknowledge your dissatisfaction, despite the reservation being fulfilled as advertised.
For these reasons, a 50% refund was not warranted, and the $100 credit represents a fair and reasonable accommodation under the circumstances.
Easy to get in and out of and the location is a 2 blocks from Arizona stadium. I had to take care of my folks who are in Sam Hughes which is right there. Very utilitarian and comfortable. I would stay again!
We loved this vrbo! Seriously loved it, its location for university events is perfect. They worked with us when we needed to check in early. The house was adorable and had all the essentials. It looks newly remodeled. The bed was comfortable too! Lyft and Ubers were easy to snag being that close to the university. We will be staying again! Thank you so much for making our trip so easy.

Were so glad you enjoyed your stay. It was a pleasure to be your host. Thank you.
The property was in a central area of Tucson which gave us the option of traveling in either direction with ease. The guest house we rented was comfortable for my partner and I and the owner was a phone call away for any questions. We had a wonderful time in Tucson attending the gem shows. Gene
We had an amazing visit with our WC who was celebrating her 21st birthday. The location was convenient to everything. The unit was clean, quiet and comfortable. Communication was efficient as Marcus responded to messages quickly and professionally. It was everything we could hope for. Thank you
We enjoyed the location and being close to downtown and university. We didn't realize that provided parking was for 1 vehicle only until after we booked. Marcus responded quickly and we found a resolution to the problem.
The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen adequate. We prefer to cook some of our meals but this kitchen lacked some of the things we like to have.
The only problem with the place is the parking, but that was because of a car across the alley that made it hard to back out,
As for communication, we had to contact the owner for the address and location after we arrived in town. Otherwise he was very accommodating.
Location is perfect for anything and everything University of Arizona! We stayed during graduation festivities and it was so easy to walk from location to campus and stadium. Pros: Air conditioning/fans worked wonderfully! On site parking spot!Cons: Lock box situation was hard to open—maybe because box was old? The bathroom window does not have a lock/hinge rusted so window doesn’t close all the way—giving people view of person showering! We weren’t able to access the television during our stay because we didn’t have the password to enter the Roku tv. Other locations we’ve stayed at have had handy dandy binders with all the information needed for the home, places to see/eat/things to do….maybe be something to consider for this place as well?
