Originally built in 1941 by world-renowned California artist, Channing Peake, honeymooned at by Gregory Peck in 1955, frequented by Hollywood stars including Audrey Hepburn and featured in the classic family Disney Movie (“STUB, The Best Cowdog in the West”), Rio Vista Ranch is truly a historical masterpiece.

Take a step back in time to enjoy historic California Rancho life, with large open windows throughout, overlooking the property (and beyond), this bright modern ranch-style home is gently shaded by oak, sycamore, pine and walnut trees. Great House and stay

Beautiful home and property. Felt so cozy with all the antiques and decor. Beds were super comfy and the kitchen was fully stocked to make meals at home! We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Wine weekend getaway

This is the 2nd year that we have stayed in the house because we love this property. We spent more time at the house/property than the last time to have the opportunity to really enjoy all that it has to offer. We took many walks/hikes, explored new wineries and spent every night playing games and laughing at the kitchen table. We cant wait to go again next year. Lesa
