Walk to Harris Lake in town property

This 6 bedroom/4.5 bath modern home is perfect for a large family and is located less than a mile from Downtown Highlands!
The main entrance of the home is located at the center of a wrap-around porch, and it opens into the dining area with a table that will comfortably seat 6 people. From the dining room, guests can venture into the spacious and updated eat-in kitchen equipped with a gas range, flat griddle, double stainless steel sink, large island, and even a breakfast nook with a small TV for entertainment.
Around the corner, in the center of the main level, are 2 separate living areas divided by a stone pillar gas fireplace. Sink into the large sectional couch while watching TV, or relax with a good book in the sitting area on the other end of the room.

The large master suite is just off of the main living area and has a King sized mattress, adorable window bench, and a smart TV. The master ensuite bathroom will transport you to your favorite spa with the lovely soaking tub located in the spacious walk-in shower providing you with extra privacy. Even more, the beautiful french doors in the master offers you access to unwind on the upper level deck with its own roll-out awning and bistro lights.

From the upper level deck you have access to the outdoor firepit as well as a view of the natural landscaping. Here you will also find a webber gas grill which will be perfect for grilling out with the entire family! (The firepit may also be acccessed from the front of the house using the pathway.)

Upstairs, you will find 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first guestroom offers a king sized bed and a TV. Across the hall is the second guestroom which has a queen bed. A Jack&Jill bathroom (with tub/shower combo) connects it to the third guestroom which has two twin sized beds. Lastly, the fourth guest bedroom has a queen sized bed. The hall bath offers a tub/shower combo.

The lower level of the home gives the opportunity for everyone in to hangout and spend time together either playing a game of pool or watching a movie. Here you will also find an additional bedroom with a king sized bed. Across the hall is the sauna room which also has a step-in shower and double vanity. Right past the sauna room, you will step into the media room which offers a large leather couch and a Billiards table. Here you also have access to the lower level deck.
Your family won't find it hard to have a "Wylde Time" in this walk-to-town home!

CANCELLATION POLICY: Our cancellation policy (effective for bookings confirmed after April 1, 2024) is outlined below:
For reservations that are 21 days or less, A reservation cancelled ( by email receipt ) between 0 - 45 days prior to arrival is not eligible for a refund. If reservation is cancelled more than 45 days prior to arrival, guest shall receive a refund of all payments made* less a cancellation fee of 10% of the total cost of the reservation AND the cost of any trip insurance if purchased.
*Refunds do not include third-party service fees as those are determined by the booking site and we do not control how those funds are processed.
For any reservations that are more than 21 days, No refund will be given unless the property is re-rented over the previously booked dates.

Not pictured is an extremely steep 22 foot driveway which is difficult to negotiate. The king sized bedroom downstairs pictured in the listing had NO AC! No orientation from the manager about how to operate the dish channels, the security system, or even the garbage can which has a bear lock on it. Lost power and could not find any flashlights. Charged 40.00 bucks for early checkin which only gave us two earlier hours to move in. Low water pressure all over the house. House was clean and had a nice setting including a fire Pitt. Gas grille was a plus. Furniture was great. Some mattresses were very hard in the bedrooms. Location was nice and the porch was roomy and a plus. With heat in Highlands not having ac was a real problem. Had to use a fan. Called the manager and told no ac in the summer. Cannot advertise this house the way it was done. Spent over $5200.00 for one week. Plus charged 40.00 for early check in and 300.00 for dog fees. Property was safe. Quiet location. Pretty house but needs improvement.

Christmas Getaway
Great layout for 11 family members to have their own space while also great for all of us to gather together. Close to town and hiking trails/waterfalls. A few cleanliness issues were quickly resolved by HVR staff. A little pricey however it was a holiday period.
