Great stay!
My girlfriends and I stayed for two nights over St. Patrick's Day weekend. There were 8 if us and we all had sleeping space and plenty of room to hang out. Wabasha is a cute town with some nice bars and things to do. The house was very charming and had tons of character. Everything was clean. When I had questions for the owners, they were very responsive. They also supplied most of what you need for a weekend that many other VRBOs don't supply. We all enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place.

Cycling Lake Pepin Area
We had a group of 5 adults. This home is charming and lovely - a perfect location for getting outside and enjoying all Lake Pepin has to offer. We cycled about 30 miles per day and headed to Treasure Island Casino Saturday night for a Trampled by Turtles concert. The hosts are wonderfully accommodating. We plan to visit again in the spring!

My husband, Dan, and I are a fun-loving, adventurous, almost retired couple who love our River Time. We water ski, swim, hike the sand dunes on one of the many islands, and spend time with family and friends on the boat or on a sandbar. In the winter we cross country ski and hike in the bluffs. We are excited to provide a place to stay for others to experience the many opportunities to enjoy the outdoor, as well as indoor adventures this beautiful area has to offer.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this house several years ago when our friends renovated it. Who knew we'd have the opportunity to buy it just a few years later! The house seems to go on forever with lots of character throughout. We stayed here with our entire family (12 of us) for a couple of nights around Christmas and everyone just loved the house and we had plenty of room. The location is great: within 2-3 blocks of most everything you'll want to do in Wabasha.

Speaking of Wabasha, what a lovely town! The natural beauty of the area is just stunning. The majestic Mississippi River flows by surrounded by beautiful bluffs and filled with abundant wildlife. The city of Wabasha itself is a treasure, as well, with a lot of history as a river town, local restaurants, bars and shops as well as the National Eagle Center. So don't hesitate to escape to Wabasha -- we're so glad we did and found a home here.
