Enjoy the large covered porch, private fenced yard, and hot tub year-round! Relax in the bay window in the living room or find a cozy nook outside. You'll love this westside getaway!

DOWNTOWN LOCATION
Steps from local favorites! Get treats at Nancy P's and fresh coffee at Backporch Roasters. Grocery at Newport Market and dining at Chow, Spork, and Kebaba are one block away! Mirror Pond and Downtown Bend are 1-5 blocks away, and Mt. Bachelor is just 20 minutes up the road. Live like a local in Bend!

HEATING & COOLING
This classic bungalow is shaded by trees and has a window A/C unit plus central fan for summer cooling. Central heat keeps you warm on chilly nights.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
Sleeps up to 6; just make sure you are comfortable sharing the 1 bathroom. There is 1 king bedroom, 1 queen bedroom, and a queen hide-a-bed in the living room. This is a memory foam sleeper sofa but as you know, most sleeper sofas are best for a smaller person or a kiddo! Pack & Play crib is available as well (bring your own baby sheets). You'll also find extra blankets to keep you cozy!

KITCHEN AND DINING
Enjoy a spacious, fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops. The eat-in kitchen has a table for 6. The outdoor patio table also seats 6 and includes a propane BBQ. A high chair is provided.

OUTDOOR SPACES & SALT WATER HOT TUB
Outside, there's a spacious landscaped yard with blooming trees. The private salt water hot tub is perfect for year-round soaks (whisper after 10 PM). Enjoy BBQs on the sunny patio. A locked shed for gear storage has bikes and helmets (bring your own helmet). No smoking.

Private alley parking for 1-2 vehicles, plus on-street parking.

PET-FRIENDLY WITH APPROVAL
Occasionally pet-friendly with enclosed yard. Let us know in advance if bringing pets and pick up after them. A pet fee applies.

The bungalow was ideal for couple people or a small family. Great seating spaces outdoors with plenty of shade. Also coffee and grocery are only a block or two away. Fantastic property!

We had a great stay at this charming bungalow.There's a really good grocer about half a block away, and good places to eat or hang out, like Spork and 10 Barrel are brief walks down pleasant streets. Walking to downtown is just a little bit farther, and you can make the crossing to Drake Park via the footbridge, which keeps you along the river and separated from traffic for most of the walk.The neighborhood is quiet, and if you decide to drive somewhere instead of walking, parking behind the house is devoted and easy to access. There's a shed on site that locks and we used it to store some bikes we had brought with us. There are some bikes already in the shed that I think are for guest use; we didn't use them, but it's a nice touch.We didn't use the laundry, but there is a washer and dryer on-site. There is central air (as well as a window hung unit), and there is a really nice hot tub just outside the back door.The host was easy to deal with -- we received all of the info by the time we needed it.I'd stay there again.

Great Location!

Diana's place was great for a weekend getaway! The location is fantastic with numerous restaurants within walking distance. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the hot tub was great! Would definitely stay here again.

Great location, clean & comfortable.

We had a great weekend with our kids at the Basalt Bungalow. We loved the fenced private yard to have meals out side. The bungalow is clean and comfortable and well appointed with everything you need to make your stay perfect.

Great stay!

The house was perfect for our friend group of six! Had all the amenities listed and some more. Really enjoyed our stay here! Close by a market and many breakfast and coffee spot. Short drive to Galveston st, downtown and old mill.

A lovely and comfortable home in the perfect location

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration at this cozy home. The hot tub was a highlight! And the neighborhood was amazing -- walking distance to downtown! I would definitely stay here again.

Cute place and great neighborhood

Cute and comfortable little home with nice kitchen and hot tub. Neighborhood is walkable and very close to grocery store and delicious restaurants. Close ride to downtown as well!
