Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. This is a one bedroom home with a queen mattress in the main living area if you have more guests and need it.It is not a two bedroom Located in the foothills of the Bradshaw mountains west of Lake Pleasant. Listen to nature in this not so tiny, tiny off-grid home. Watch the sunsets and sunrises off the 2nd story decks. Chimes provide a peaceful vibe. Yoga mat for meditation and yoga. Home is in the center of riding trails and is 4-wheel drive access. Peaceful solitude is yours just outside the city! I can take you there if you do not Have 4x4. It is about sharing!

Couldn't believe how secluded and remote this area was. Absolutely loved the peace and beauty of the area. Would definitely recommend!

Great views

We loved our stay on this remote desert property. It was clean, comfortable and everything was advertised. John was a great host. The desert views and the solitude was what we were looking for

I will endeavor to be better at that, but it is a house that has pets that are allowed in it. Hope you have a wonderful day and safe travels in the future.

Such a great time!

Long trek out but worth it for those that are willing to drive a little dirt road! The house is awesome! The house has everything you need and then some. Great views, no people to bug you, and land to explore. We were allowed to check in early to attend a wedding. The only critique is reuse of the hairy comforter from other stays. Highly recommend!

Glad you enjoyed your stay. I enjoyed having you out at the ranch as far as the comforter goes. I wash everything every time, including the hand towel you left up. I will endeavor to make sure that the dogs from the past don’t stay in the future with the house, but I allow pets and sometimes I imagine some of the hair gets through But everything is cleaned every time my dogs are extra hairy so I have my own comforter I use when I’m there but it’s a house that has pets in it. Quiet remote canyon

All to outselves. It was a great stay with amazing views, roomy kitchen, giant sectional couch, two really cool decks, fire place. Overall fun time. Make sure to come in a high clearance vehicle.

Off grid, full comfort!

One of the best experiences of my life! The remoteness of this home was exactly what I was looking for. John was an amazing host, very responsive and gave me great little tour on the way in. From listening to the rain and watching the desert come alive with color to sitting on the deck with a full moon and fire really restored my soul. I can’t wait to return to this house, it’s truly magical out there! I also felt completely safe!

Wonderful Off Grid style house with Amenities

If you like the peace and quiet, and like to wander in the Arizona desert, this place tops the list! Great views and an updated house, but be ready to get there and enjoy the scenery on the way out with a high clearance vehicle. Super clean and great communication with John the owner. No internet, but my phone’s WiFi/hotspot provided streaming live tv if you need it. Books and some DVDS available at the house. We hope to return again!

Exceeded expectations

John is first class and an excellent host. Every detail & design decision of the property was well thought out. Excellent sunrise & sunset views. Plenty of trails and interesting sites to explore. It’s a treat to find a location remote enough to enjoy the serenity of nature while being close enough to the city to get what you need. WiFi was zipping along so no issues at all. Stock 4WD had no problem accessing the property. Looking forward to returning with a modified setup to explore more of the area.

Way off the beaten path

As stated, you will need a high clearance vehicle to access the property. After you turn off of the main road you will drive just under 30 minutes off road, literally. The path to the home is (I believe) primarily used for off-road trails. It’s a very long, winding, bumpy, rocky road. Once you arrive you will find yourself in a pleasantly isolated home with beautiful views of the landscape and starry, night sky. The kitchen is well stocked and should have everything you need. Definitely stop at the grocery store on the way in because it is a long haul in and out. The final driveway to the home is VERY steep. If rain is expected you may reconsider. The house was clean enough but not immaculate. Expected dustiness (it is in the middle of a desert), but spills in the refrigerator, trash in the receptacle, and other minor things prevents 5 stars for cleanliness. The closet was filled with house stuff and a person’s clothes so we couldn’t hang our own clothes. There were available hangers but house stuff was piled high underneath so clothes wouldn’t fit. There were bedside nightstands that had drawers. The listing pictured a hot tub so we packed our swim suits only to arrive to find there wasn’t one there. The chiminea on the back balcony was fantastic and kept us warm in the cool night weather. There was plenty of firewood which is rare to find at other rentals! Overall it was a nice, quiet stay.. with sightings of bunnies, burros, and wild cows and sounds of coyotes and birds.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry for any of things that disappointed you. I did get that picture off of the Jacuzzi that ended up not being working long-term. I’ll have to get a real one out not a blowup one from Walmart. Unfortunately, the mechanism didn’t allow that one to work I had removed it from the listing but I missed the picture, so thank you for the update on that, trash is just the stuff from cleaning. I don’t like to waste there’s just tiny bit of stuff in the bottom from swiffer the floor and some stuff and not other peoples trash so I generally am OK with letting the bag fill up and throwing away a full bag, instead of a partial I am big on recycling and there’s a can for that at the house. Also And I thank you for the suggestions I’ll try to make some room in the closet for people that want that all in all good suggestions appreciate the thoughts.
