This charming duplex is located in the highly desirable Balboa Peninsula right across from Bay and Balboa Island. This is just 1-2 blocks to the beach boardwalk, ferry and fun zone. The upper unit has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and a balcony with a small view of the bay.
The property has 2 units- upper and lower.
You can also book both units together which then would sleep 8 guest.
This listing is for the upper unit which has its own private balcony with a small view of the bay and the islands beyond it. It's wonderful to enjoy coffee on the balcony or to listen to the waves at night. The second bedroom is accessed through the first bedroom or bathroom. This was a common beach house design from the 1940's era. This unit sleep 4 adults but most comfortable with 2 adults and 2 children. The upper unit is 780 square feet.
The guest has access to the patio, patio table, BBQ and sectional .
Other things to note- 2 night minimum only.. No parties or events allowed.
There are plenty of shops, restaurants and rental for bikes and water sports within walking distance.

Perfect location

We rented this property for a quick weekend trip with friends and it was perfect. Great location, walking distance to the ocean and harbor, Balboa restaurants and bars. I even snuck in a little yoga in the sun on the balcony. The host Anita was great to work with. Very responsive and accommodating. A friend forgot his phone at the property after we had checked out and she was very easy to work in helping us get it back.
