This place was great they had everything you could need for your family. All sorts of extra things for our family. Home was very clean had everything you need in the kitchen. We loved the smore station and all the board games and toys for the pool. Our family had a great time. Josie the owner would check on us through messenger to make sure we had everything. Plenty of room with multiple gathering places for fun and time alone. The pool and pool room are perfect. The dock and kayaks are fun. The bedrooms are comfy. Great place to stay

We absolutely loved our stay here. Everything was provided, along with toiletries. There was so much to do at the home, we didn't leave much. The kids loved everything from the board games, the Nintendo Switch, the pool, and the kayaks. We even seen some dolphins out on the canal. The neighbors seem very friendly. Wonderful neighborhood! We would definitely stay here again!

We booked Hernando Hideaway for a few days to visit our adult children in the area. We were not disappointed with this great property! The house was very clean, comfortable and the hosts thought of everything! So organized! Lots to do and great outdoor areas. We rented a boat and used the fire pit. The s’mores kit was genius. Boys trip at Hernando Hide away!

I stayed here for my bachelor party. Just trust me. This place is it. They thought of everything. I packed light and most of my bag space was taken up by groomsmen gifts. I walked in and they had all the toiletries I needed. Super clean and so much to do

Hernando Hideaway was spectacular! We traveled from Ohio with an 8month old and a 5 year old for a family vacation. Beautiful and relaxing home

This home had everything you needed as well as things you didn’t even know you needed! We enjoyed the well organized kitchen, s’mores at the fire pit, the heated pool, relaxing bike rides. The dock was perfect for our boat as well as the canal being wide and deep enough to use with ease. Our group of employees and spouses fit perfectly in the large home with plenty of space to do our big group meals together. We had constant communication with the owners as they made sure our stay was perfect. We will be going back again with our kids and family during the summer and cannot wait to stay there!

Loved loved loved this rental. Spent a long weekend at the house with 2 families, 4 kids and 4 adults. The property was well maintained and really catered to families. From the toiletries, the snack box, and the smore station, everything was well thought out. Josie was super responsive. And the location was perfect. This property is so clean and beautiful! They really thought of everything possible to provide a fun and relaxing environment. The pool is crystal clear and refreshing. Take a break from afternoon thunderstorms in the pool game room…plenty of games provided. From coffee bar, fully stocked kitchen, and toiletries to coolers, chairs, and towels for the beach…they have you covered. Even sunscreen and bug spray! We had fun crabbing on the dock and roasting marshmallows on the fire. All s’mores items provided as well. Amazing hosts! Thanks again for a great stay 😁

Luxurious Stay at Hernando Hideaway!

This vacation rental was perfect for our family's annual scalloping trip. There was plenty of room for our family of four. The location is convenient to the marina and boat ramp as well as restaurants and grocery stores. We loved being able to dock our boat with quick access to the Golf and enjoy all the extras that made us feel at home. We enjoyed the stocked coffee and tea bar. The full s'mores station was a big hit for the kids as was the pool with all pool toys waiting for them. The hosts have thought of everything. Pack your clothes and food and the rest is covered. We will definitely be back next year!

EXCEPTIONAL

The property was beyond amazing, and communication with Josie was exceptional. The house was perfect, from the cleanliness to all the amenities. The kitchen is stocked better than my own! You honestly don't need to bring much other than clothes and food. I've stayed at many VRBO's but none as well stocked as this. There were plenty of towels for showers, and an entire setup by the pool included towels, sunscreen, and a mini JBL for music. Outdoor games, baby toys, games, and cards were just a few of the items we used. There was so much I couldn't possibly list it all, but to say I was impressed is an understatement. We highly recommend this home . Bring your boat! Access to the gulf is right around the corner.

What a wonderful home. It was plenty big enough for the eight of us. The grandkids enjoyed the pool and all the toys, it was so nice to have. Very happy that the pool had a baby fence, it gave us peace of mind. There are so many extras in this home, we are now spoiled and it’ll be hard to live up to. Did I mentioned the extras: snores bar, snack station, coffee and hot chocolate bar. A personalized welcome sign to greet us. We played connect four, rode the bikes, fished off the dock, kayaked around the canals, and so much more. The beds were so comfortable. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas which was a surprise, we all loved that. We enjoyed breakfast at silver dolphin-large portions and good food. You can feed the turtles while you wait for your breakfast. Visited Homosassa Springs- a must to see the manatees. Many attractions not too far away- rainbow springs, air boat tours, fishing charters, pine island, putt putt and more. Everything was in excellent condition including the kitchen pans to the life jackets. The owners were really prompt at responding to questions, always checking in to make everything was ok. Definitely recommend this home. Thank You for all that you do!

Originally from Pennsylvania, we purchased the home in 2020 and completed a full renovation in 2021, thoughtfully transforming it into the waterfront retreat it is today.
