Welcome to Glen Hollow Lodge, your new favorite home-away-from-home during your vacation to the beautiful Black Hills! Located just a short 4 miles outside of Deadwood off highway 14, this wonderful cabin offers great access to the local ATV/snowmobile trails, biking/hiking trails, and local attractions that everyone loves to see while visiting the area. In just minutes, you can be gambling or enjoying a local restaurant in Deadwood, or cruising towards Sturgis to enjoy the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. The cabin is nestled between Deadwood and Sturgis, with all paved roads, so it makes for a great location for those bringing their motorcycles to the area as you can be in Sturgis in as little as 10 minutes! Spearfish Canyon is also just 15 minutes away where you can fish the local trout streams, hike to caves and waterfalls, or just enjoy a cruise through the windy rim-rock canyon. During winter, you're just 15 minutes away from skiing/snowboarding on Terry Peak as well! If you're looking for the larger attractions like Mount Rushmore, Sylvan Lake, Keystone, and Custer State Park, you can see these all in under an hour's drive! Whether you're in the area to take in the sites, enjoy the local trail systems, or relax in Deadwood, Glen Hollow Lodge is the perfect place to settle in for your vacation. Please keep in mind when vacationing in the winter season, which occurs anytime between October thru April here, use of an all wheel or 4 wheel drive vehicle is highly recommended. The Glen Hollow Lodge cement driveway has a steep grade, so with the right conditions it can become very slippery.
Once you've returned from your daily adventures, there is covered parking for 1 or 2 vehicles and/or multiple motorcycles. You'll be coming home to your very own 3 level cabin with room to breathe, which is the topping on the cake. The open kitchen leads right into the dining and main living area, so preparing meals while enjoying your company is seamless. There are many large windows that let in natural light while the main fireplace in the living room sets the stage for a night with your feet up by the fire. You may also choose to step out onto the large deck to relax and maybe see some wildlife like deer or wild turkey. There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor, the first with a king bed, full size sofa sleeper, a private bathroom and flat screen TV. The 2nd bedroom on the main floor includes1 king bed and 1 queen bed, TV and attached full bath. The upstairs loft area has 2 queen beds. The lower level also has 2 more bedrooms with 1 king bed and 1 queen bed in each as well as TVs. The downstairs has a living area with a mini bar, a walk out to the hot tub, as well as another gas fireplace and flat screen TV to gather with your friends and family. There's a fun dart board, cornhole game, board/card games available, a pack and play and highchair for the kids, soft water, and a RO drinking water system.
