This property has great views of the Smoky Mountains and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the view. The hot tub was clean and in good working order. Management was responsive to our requests for maintenance. The kitchen was arranged for efficiency. The property was clean. I deducted points for the following reasons: the kitchen lacked a few basics like a scissors, a pitcher, adequate forks, knives, plates, drinking glasses, and at least one sharp knife. The house is older- probably built in the 60s - and the woodwork shows wear. We were a party of 8 adults. Master bedroom is large. Other rooms are small but adequate. The loft upstairs with 2 twin beds was only accessible via a spiral staircase and lacked a bathroom. Guests were allotted 1 towel set with three extra towels in a closet. The second bedroom on the main level has a queen bed with a horrible mattress. The king mattresses in the other rooms were OK. The hot water system never really got hot. Our showers were barely warm.

Thank you for your feedback. We're pleased that you enjoyed the beautiful mountain views and outdoor spaces, and that you found the property clean, the hot tub well maintained and our team responsive. We appreciate your suggestions regarding the kitchen inventory and will be adding additional forks, knives and other useful items where needed. When you contacted us about the hot water, we came to the property, tested the water temperature at different points in the home and made an adjustment. As an older mountain home, the property has plenty of character, and we continue to maintain and update it while looking for ways to make our guests' stays more comfortable. Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to share your experience.

Spectacular views, excellent mountain vacation experience.

My 3 adult children, 2 grandchildren and I had ample accommodations, privacy, along with easy access to Asheville attractions. Just out far enough to feel “in the mountains “. Truly spectacular views from the very large deck and generous gathering room.

Perfect girls trip

We could not have had a better stay! The house was perfect for our group of 9 girls with lots of private room but several larger areas for us to hang out. The location was so close to downtown asheville too which made it easy to get back and forth. The views were beautiful!

This is an amazing house with a fantastic mountain view! There was plenty of room for our family to spread out. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the game room and our vegan members enjoyed the kitchen downstairs too. The hot tub was awesome for our hiking couple to ease sore muscles. The deck was great for visiting in groups through out the house. The large dining room and table accommodated all 12 members of our family.Very disappointing however was the very slow response to the infestation of ants in ONE bed of the loft. Not several ants but dozens of them. There was not a phone number given to call in such a circumstance. Finally a very nice man came and sprayed around the bed and took the sheets to be washed. However, the ants were back in force the next morning. The 16 year old girl using that bed was very unhappy to have to sleep in the family room downstairs. There was not an apology made for the inconvenience....12 beds to sleep in should be 12 insectless beds. I would recommend this house to anyone but with the assurance of no ants please.

This was the perfect space for our family to gather to attend my son's wedding in Weaverville. Absolutely everything one sees in the property's photos it true . Outstanding views!Great upstairs kitchen. Only drawback, was no vent hood for the stove to remove smoke while cooking. I really hope we have an opportunity to visi again and truly tae advantage of all this property has to offer. Thank you for an enjoyable stay
