We are located 15 mins south from the Biltmore Estate, nearby Hendersonville Road. You get the luxury of seclusion while still having the convenience of shopping and dining close by. The multitude of outdoor activities in this country oasis are abundant.

The December Holidays are split into two 6 night minimums. Christmas week and New Years week. Guests booking Christmas week (prior to Dec 26th) MUST be checked out by December 28th. HANDICAP ACCESS
You may enter through the front door, however there are no bedrooms on this floor. There is an entrance to the ground floor bedroom with no steps. We do not provide handicap rails in the bathrooms.

MOUNTAIN HOME BUG DISCLAIMER.
We do our utmost to control insects. However we are in the mountains so insects can still get into the home despite our best efforts. A few might get in during your stay. Lady bug seasons are common in Asheville. We spray and vacuum but they can still accumulate daily. It is a common occurrence for all homes in this area.

Beautiful location and views!

Loved the house and deck. Absolutely perfect for the size of our group. We did have a little difficulty because there are no bedrooms on the main floor which made things a bit difficult for our elderly grandmother who has mobility issues, but otherwise it was clean and charming! We were grateful for 4 wheel drive, but even the Chevy Malibu made it up the hill with no trouble.

Located just minutes from downtown Asheville, and a beautiful view. The house itself is very nice--clean, roomy, and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

60th Birthday Celebration.

We enjoyed our stay and seeing 2 bears walk right past the dining room window. Very quiet and a beautiful view. Close to Asheville and the Biltmore.

Really enjoyed this location! Great views and good hangout space. It is a bit of a steep climb up a gravel road for the drivers but great spot! Large bathroom in the upstairs master (2 double beds) which was nice for lots of people to share.

Mountain vacation

Home was clean and as pictured. It made you feel that you were away from civilization, but it was a short drive to get into downtown Asheville. We had a wonderful time and look forward to staying there again!

Quiet property with a fantastic view

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed spending our Christmas holiday at the property even though we had to leave earlier than planned due to inclement weather headed our way. It was very close to town but felt a million miles away. Great place to unwind but with all of the creature comforts including high speed WiFi.

Comfortable with a great view

The space was perfect for our party of 5. Views were excellent. No problems with the drive up to the house—just follow the directions and you’ll be fine. Saw 2 bears take a dip in the pool-that was fun. Also a wild turkey family. Grill works great. Highly recommended for your quiet family get together.

Great views and location

The house was an easy drive to various sites, grocery stores and restaurants. It was well maintained and had plenty of room. We enjoyed the deck and comfortable furnishings. Camille did a nice job of communicating and was a joy to work with. Two musts for Asheville is the Biltmore and a beer tour or two. Camille provided an extensive list of recommended things to do nearby and that was also helpful.

Can't say just like home....

Very nice place, beautiful property, cleaning crew obviously needs more cleaning detail. upstairs floor needs addressing extremely noisy especially if have guests. But must says all issues pointed out were immediately addressed by manager of property (except floors i did not report that as that an owner issue)

Perfect Location!

This home was a great choice for a weekend getaway for four couples. The location was wonderful. Just 10-15 min from downtown Asheville. We had no trouble finding our way and with just a few steep inclines we were there. The house is ultra clean. Make sure you take bedroom slippers since there are no shoes allowed in the house. We enjoyed evening meals at the large dining room table after a day of touring the local breweries and shoppes. Topping off the evening by the outside fireplace was awesome. We also enjoyed the large deck with the incredible view! The kitchen is pretty well stocked, but I would suggest adding some larger frying pans for those who want to prepare meals for larger groups. I would definitely recommend this property if you are planning a visit to Asheville or the surrounding area.

Not great

The property is in need of a good cleaning. Clearly visible dirt/dust on window sills, baseboards, light fixtures, walls, cabinet doors etc. the freezer was gross. we also found several dishes and utensils that were dirty or needed to be replaced. The location is a bit difficult. I don’t recall the listing articulating 2 switchback turns and the house being on a dirt road. Additionally the check out requirements are more than I’ve ever been asked.

Beautiful views but still close to the city

Stayed in what turned out to be the coldest week of the year. I was concerned as there was snow in the forecast and our rental cars did not have 4 wheel drive. It did snow but we didn't have any trouble getting to and from the house and both driveways. We just always made sure we got home before dark. We had 8 adults in our group and the house fit us quite nicely. The house is exactly how it looks in the pictures. It would have been nice to enjoy the deck but with below freezing temperatures and high wind we stayed inside. The big window in the living room allowed us to enjoy the views. We did enjoy the fire pit a couple of nights. Would love to come back and visit this beautiful area when it is warmer.Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Great, private mountain home still close to everything.

Location could not be better! You are extremely close to everything and less than 30 minutes from Biltmore but you are still in a totally quiet and private mountain retreat. The driveway is a challenge but totally doable but that’s to be expected if you want a great view like this house has. Something to note and be aware of but I didn’t hold it against the house; the floors are very noisy. They are very creaky but even beyond that you can hear the “thud” of every step even small children. I myself live in a 2 story home so I was shocked how thin the floors were. When one of us woke up we all woke up even though we were all trying to walk as lightly as possible. I had a few questions and the owner was always a quick text away. Very friendly and even checked in with me each day. Everything in working order and clean.

Beautiful Views

This property has beautiful views! We enjoyed our stay, however, I feel like we had a laundry list of chores to do before we checked out for the day otherwise we would be charged additional fees. I felt like this made the trip a little more stressful when it should have been relaxing.

Family trip

We loved the property. We had a family trip planned as a Christmas gift for our kids and grandkids and the house was perfect. The view was great and the area was very quiet. It was only a short drive to stores and downtown Asheville. We will definitely book this house again if we return to the area.

This was the perfect location for our girls trip to Biltmore and downtown Asheville. Plenty of space and the beds are very comfortable. The view was amazing!
