Great for for the family

Had plenty of space for our family to stay for our wedding. Was really close to our venue and a lot of amenities. Was a nice place and the little touch of coffees and snacks were great addition.

Chicken house!

The owner was extremely easy to work with and the house is well stocked with goodies, games and supplies. Much more than I expected.

Chickens were the star

My almost 2 year old thoroughly appreciated the chickens. The house was very clean with plenty of seating in kitchen and living room for 6 adults. Third bedroom (full bed with a twin cot) the bed is extremely squeaky, which was a bit challenging since we were trying to sleep without waking up the 2 year old in her pack n play next to us. That room is also quite bright/doesn’t have a curtain for the top window, so we were glad we had a blackout cover for the pack n play both for putting her to bed before sunset and so we weren’t awake at sunrise. There were only 4 wine glasses but we made do with juice glasses. We did not cook any meals while we were there, so can’t speak to kitchen equipment, but again everything was clean, and bathroom with the tub worked great for bathtime.

Whether you are coming to the Richmond area for a sports event, wedding, family visit or just passing through we want to make that stay as comfortable as possible. If I were to describe your stay at Water View it would be cozy, comfortable and relaxing. You can sit on the huge front porch and watch the sunset, relax around the firepit or pay a visit to the chickens who live on the property. Convenient to city of Richmond, Powhatan, Chesterfield, numerous wedding venues, restaurants and so much more.

What makes this property unique

Entire house has been freshly painted and decorated to make you feel right at home. Spacious bedrooms, with TV in primary bedroom and TV in bedroom 3 (perfect for kids). Fast WIFI and cable. Coded entry allows for easy check in. Entire home and yard is yours to enjoy.

The chickens love leftovers, fruits and veggies, especially salad. Feel free to give them any food you would be throwing away. Help yourself to eggs in the coop.

Home is on a main road, we have a fenced in area for pets when not on a leash. We do not recommend having pet off leash unless inside the fence. Please dispose of any pet waste in outdoor trash can.
