My wife and I wanted to get away from it all and celebrate her 50th. This place did not disappoint. Cozy and quiet, except for a stream that was ran about 15 feet from the back deck. There’s a big field that the dogs loved. Probably some areas to hike, but honestly, we just didn’t want to leave the cabin.
The cabin was cozy and the bed was comfortable. The perfect combination for our romantic getaway. It rained a bit during our stay, but we didn't mind & took in the views of the wonderful mossy lush forest in the surrounding area. The wine & snacks left for us by the host were delicious & much appreciated. We enjoyed time watching a couple of our favorite shows on the smart TV without any difficulties. & took a drive to see the dunes on the coast, south of Florence, and enjoyed some fish & chips at Mo's while in town along the river.
Just wonderful to be tucked back into lush forest, complete with a babbling brook behind the deck! The hosts get an A++ from this teacher 😄 & I’m sure I will be making a return visit!
We had a great time at the cabin! We had everything we needed for a comfortable overnight stay, the hosts were helpful and responsive. Highly recommend, we hope to visit again soon!
This is an amazing cabin with wonderful hosts! The cabin is immaculate and fully equipped with appliances, and even includes amazing touches such as rock painting, a delightful back deck, and even thoughtful snacks upon our arrival. We felt very welcome and cozy. I certainly hope we have the opportunity to come back; I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
We enjoyed the property and the cabin immensly!... i accidentally left a bamboo cutting board in the kitchen, if there is any way it can be returned the next time you are in florence i would greatly appreciate it😊
This vacation cabin was much better than we expected. It was very clean and modern, with many extras, that we usually have not seen in other rentals that we have stayed in. These small extras helped make our vacation stay a lot more fun and comfortable. The location was very quiet and peaceful, and this was one of the things we was looking for!
It was absolutely wonderful. The first thing I noticed was how CLEAN the cottage was! Everything was well thought out and homey. Comfortable and inviting, it was so easy to relax there. The sound of the creek behind us was heaven. The hosts were responsive and friendly. Zero complaints. Can’t wait to book another stay here soon!
Our stay was short, but sweet. Plenty of space for our dog to explore, including gravel roads adjacent to the property where we could take him to hike.
The cabin is lovely, well appointed, and private. We were delighted with our stay.
This cabin in the woods was stocked with everything you would want or need. Recommend stay should be at least 2 nights , I wish we had booked 3 or more nights. I will next time.
We loved our quick stay! The cabin was spotless, had a fully stocked kitchen, and the hosts were responsive and great communicators! We will be back someday soon, but this time for a longer stay!
If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place. Everything at the cabin was great. The only downfall is the location. Most of the infrastructure is 20-30 minutes away, so make sure that you have your gas tank filled and all of the food that you need when you get to the cabin. We mostly spent the days away hitting the coast, so we only had to make the trip once per day, but one time we came home on Sunday evening and couldn't find an open restaurant nearby, so had to drive back to Florence and were able to find a few options still open.
I loved this cabin among the trees!. The gas grill on the deck provided the best spatchcocked chicken, and the kitchen has everything you need for a gourmet meal!
Chris and Susan were great at communicating. We had a wonderful time for our 1 year anniversary! Cabin is exactly as advertised. Definitely thinking about coming back.
