Nice property within walking distance of downtown. We took full advantage of the covered porch and caught up on reading between walks and meals. Delightful time.

We have travelled across NC for three summers. We've seen our share of good & bad and this home was great. Incredibly clean, the front porch was great for coffee or a glass of wine. The location was perfect to walk to town or trail, we would highly recommend.

The location is perfect, within walking distance to some of our favorite shops and restaurants. The furnishings were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. And the outside sitting area was very nice. We hope to stay there again soon.

Third time returning guests to this conveniently located property. Owners continue to make enhancements to the property: phenomenal new covered porch which makes for a lovely spot to hang out; new kitchen and appliances; and new central air conditioning. Location is excellent permitting an easy walk into Highlands shops and restaurants as well as to multiple hiking trails in conservation lands.Overall, a very comfortable stay and experience! We look forward to returning again in the future.

We loved it! Sleeping for 2 in a king bed is very comfortable. If you have 4, 2 will be on 2 couches. Lots of space for friends and family to visit. Host ask that we wash sheets and leave them in the dryer. There was laundry booster but no laundry detergent. We were leaving early 6 am and I left sheets in the washing machine to be washed. It was overall great. I will rent it again if just the 2 of us.

Wonderful location and updated accommodations! Sleeps 4 is a comfortable king bed and an inflatable mattress was the only surprise.

The third paragraph of our property description clearly states the following: In addition to the king size bed in the bedroom, we also have an EZ Bed Air Mattress elevated on legs with a cozy mattress topper for an additional 1-2 guests that can be set up in the living area, if needed.

Accommodations were lovely. Quite spacious and clean. Love the covered front deck. Location is perfect to walk to historic downtown with amazing restaurants and shops. Owners were very gracious.
