Stay in Comfort, Surrounded by Nature Your cozy glamping retreat "Merlot" is thoughtfully designed for a comfortable escape. Snuggle into the plush queen bed, enjoy a private bathroom with a hot shower, and make use of amenities like a microwave, coffee maker, mini-fridge, and wine glasses—ideal for savoring local wines. While the heating and air conditioning ensure comfort to sleep at night, please keep in mind that it's still a tent, so the experience will differ from that of a house or hotel.
Please note, it is prohibited to leave pets unattended inside the unit.
A Pet-Friendly Retreat Your furry friends are welcome! To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, pets must be leashed and not left unattended in the tent. A $50 penalty applies to undeclared pets, in addition to the standard pet fee.
Adventure Awaits Explore Pedernales Falls State Park for swimming, hiking, and horseback riding, or hike to breathtaking views at Enchanted Rock. Stroll through Johnson City and Fredericksburg, where boutique shops, galleries, and seasonal farmers’ markets showcase the charm of Hill Country. For a unique experience, visit The Preserve to see wildlife up close.
Savor Local Flavors Pair handcrafted wines with wood-fired pizza, charcuterie boards, and our famous Martins Nutz (glazed pecans) at 12 Fires Winery. In town, indulge in local favorites like 290 Locale Winery & Pizzeria and Proof and Cooper at the Lumberyard.
**Weekday wine tastings are available by reservation.**
Unwind Under the Stars End your day by the fire pit with complimentary firewood, sharing stories and stargazing in the fresh night air. Fires are permitted unless a burn ban is in effect.
At 12 Fires Winery, glamping is more than just a stay — it’s an invitation to slow down, reconnect, and experience the best of Texas Hill Country. We can’t wait to welcome you.
Note: In freezing conditions, water systems may be drained to prevent damage, which could limit running water access. Please plan accordingly.

Excellent glamping accommodation, perfect for a weekend getaway in the hill country. We enjoyed the comfort of the tent and the private firepit.
You can hear the road from the tent during the day, but this is very quiet past 6pm and did not bother us during our stay.
We're so glad you had a relaxing stay! We hope to welcome you back again soon.

A very nice glamping experience
This was a very short notice reservation and the owner and his staff welcomed us and got us set up in our tent! The place is beautiful…the bed was super comfy, bathroom was clean and had very nice shower, the kitchen area had coffee and waters for us and the porch area had couches and chairs to relax in. A few steps away from the tent, we had our own private fireplace. Not only was the tent site nice, they have a tasting room on the property with some delicious wines! This was the perfect stay and cannot wait to go back!

From the cozy bed to the private fireplace and, of course, the delicious wines, it sounds like you made the most of your time with us! We can’t wait to welcome you back for another perfect stay. Cheers!
We stayed in tent 5, which had full amenities! It was so convenient as our favorite winery, 12 Fires, was just a few steps away! 😊 Our dog was with us for the entire duration of the trip and he loved enjoying the porch and outdoors with us. These tents are great for a weekend getaway!

Nice but Noisy
The accommodations were well furnished for necessities. The Queen bed was comfortable but a little difficult to get out of if you are the one against the wall. Make sure to bring noise cancelling headphones. They do furnish disposable foam earplugs but the road noise is still present. This would be a 5 Star rating without the noise factor.

Thank you for sharing your experience! We're so glad you found the accommodations well-furnished and the queen bed comfortable. We understand that road noise can be a factor for light sleepers, and we appreciate your suggestion. Your feedback means a lot, and we hope to welcome you back for another getaway!
