We had an excellent experience! Very cozy and clean home with everything we could have needed during our stay, and more. 100% will be staying here when we visit again!
Perfect place to relax, close to everything and if you fish it’s set up with carports and electric for charging. Has everything for family also. Quiet neighbor hood
My husband and I stayed with 2 other couples for a long weekend. There is plenty of space, comfy beds, and lots of parking! The covered parking was a bonus! The house was impeccably clean. We will definitely be repeat renters when we come up to Lake Norman!
Very clean, lots of room for everyone. All the little extras they had helped out ( towels, pillows, coffee, ect). Tha owners kept in touch with me to make sure everything was fine. Definitely will stay here again!!!

Thank you Jeff! It was our pleasure hosting you and hope you will visit us again!
We stayed here a few weeks for work. We found it very clean, and loved the log cabin look. All sleeping arrangements were very comfortable, kitchen was perfect, and the large den for watching games were great. There was a gas grill and fire pit, with plenty of room to sit outside.
We came here to visit family for Christmas and stayed at this comfortable and cute place. The place had everything we needed. We had our dogs as well that enjoyed the abundance of places to walk. The hosts were accommodating and quickly communicated when needed. We had a great time and would rent here again when we visit family again. We had a great Christmas with family. Thank you!

Stephanie, her family and pets were great to host. Upon departure they followed all the rules and during their stay took great care of our home. They gave great feedback after the departure which helps improve our hosting for future guests. Any host that has her as a booking will be happy they did.
We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean and nice. We only had issues with the internet and tv. We had to use our own hotspot. Everything else was wonderful.

Unfortunately we are limited to one internet provider for our area. We apologize to any guest when outages occur which are beyond our control.
This cabin was perfect for group of 5. The authentic cabin is wonderful. It was very clean. The kitchen is well stocked. The property is beautiful. Plenty of room for the dogs to run and explore. It is secluded and quiet yet close to everything. The extra parking for cars and boats was definitely a bonus. We loved time here and would absolutely stay here again. John and Laurie we very responsive to our needs. We had the pleasure of meeting both of them. Super nice people. Thank you for welcoming us into your home.
The cabin is a 5/5 stay with updated bathrooms and plenty of room in this cabin that looks small from the outside. The back porch is large and the back yard was huge. What really made this stay was the host. I am transitioning out of the Army after 25 years and coming back home from the other side of the US. John's support and knowledge of the area was instrumental in helping my family find the place that we will call home after more than 2 decades on the move. I can't thank him enough.

About the host
Hosted by John William Viscomi
We relocated to the area in December of 2019 from Connecticut. As a retired LEO, Marine Corps veteran, we chose the area for its beauty, friendly neighbors, and activities. We chose to do a short-term rental in order to provide a welcome, home away from home environment for travelers. We have tailored the house to be similar to one we would prefer to stay in when we travel. We have included all the amenities and comforts of home as we would want it. We are blessed to have 4 children (2 still in Connecticut) and two fur babies. We are located in the area, and should any event arise at the home, we are on call to assist with your stay.
Why they chose this property
We were originally seeking a beach home, however when this log style home was presented, we thought that it would make a unique rental. We have renovated the two full bathrooms and rejuvenated the homes hardwood floors, added granite counter tops, and given the landscaping a new look. We look forward to having you as guest and appreciate the area and all it has to offer.
What makes this property unique
Area! The area is full of activities for all ages. The lake provides summer adventure for lifelong memories and Charlotte provides sports and culture for everyone.
