Peaceful, secluded, and serene
If you are looking for a peaceful, secluded, and serene place to stay this is it! This location is on top of Rich Mountain and has the most spectacular view. The property is beautiful inside and out! The kitchen has all the utensils you could need to cook. The loft is not only beautiful but the bed is so comfortable. We both had the best sleep! The only thing to note is that if you want to watch tv in the evening to unwind then you need to bring something to watch. There is no local tv or cable. This was not a big deal to myself because i read and crochet but my hubby enjoys tv. We did enjoy the yatzee game they had to play, they had a few other games they provided as well. We saw dear and chipmunks galore. The star gazzing is phenomenal on this mountain and hearing the coyotes on the adjacent mountain was beautiful to hear. The fure ring and chair's are so nice to relax in outside! The owners of the home were quick to reply and so nice to talk too. Would definitely stay again ❤️

What makes this property unique

We love this area of West Virginia and wanted to share it with others when we aren't using our cabin. Rich Mountain Retreat is close to Davis, Elkins, Seneca Rocks, Dolly Sods, Spruce Knob, and several ski resorts to enjoy them. While still being secluded and quiet enough to star gaze and watch the wildlife. Plus the view from the porch into the valley below is breath taking.
