Cozy Mountain Cabin - Firepit & 5 min from Hiking!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful getaway in the mountains.

Tucked away in the mountains, you will enjoy a slower pace of life close to hiking trails and skii resorts. Many guests have limited to no cell phone service, however we offer Free Wifi, a Smart TV with streaming access, coffee station, an outdoor firepit, and washer dryer for your stay. Be as connected or disconnected as you like for your getaway, breathe in the mountain air, and take in the relaxation.

Please note we do have outdoor security cameras and a noise alert. We do not monitor these, but they do alert us if there is an issue.

Although we do not allow pets on the property, the owners do bring their dogs from time to time. We clean and disinfect the best we can, but if you are allergic to dogs, you may enjoy your stay more at another location.

Quiet hours begin at 10pm. Your stay is in a slow paced quiet area. We have kind neighbors and ask guests to be mindful and respectful to them.

Check out is at 10am. Additional fees will be applied to late checkout. By 12pm - $50, After 12p is an additional night charge.

Please leave the cabin as you found it. Breaking house rules may result in added fees or immediate cancelation of reservation.

Quiet and peaceful

If you’re looking for a nice quiet and peaceful place to stay, this is definitely it. We did a girls hiking trip and this was the perfect location with multiple different trails close by. There was ample space for everyone in our group and the house provided a great place to come home and relax to in the evening.

Great location and amenities

The property is minutes from Dolly Sods and Canaan Valley State Park and a short drive from Davis and Thomas. There was a large deck for dark sky star-gazing. It was well-outfitted for cooking and relaxing. It was clean and comfortable. The host was responsive. We'll stay again!

Cozy and comfortable

The property is more beautiful than the pictures and the view is outstanding. Furnishings are modern and all the supplies you need are there. Location is tremendous, next door to Timberline & Canaan Valley. Water pipes froze throughout the region while we were there, and the host & local team were very kind and went above and beyond to be helpful to us, such as by bringing us water. We would definitely stay here again!

Hi! I'm Nicole, and I enjoy making spaces where people feel comfortable and relaxed in. I enjoy music, friend time on porches, roller skating (I play roller derby in my local league ^_^), and sitting by a good fire.

Why they chose this property

One of my favorite things about the cabin is how peaceful it is. It is set in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful country views. When I start a fire and put on a movie, I feel myself melt into the couch I'm so relaxed. Another added bonus is our proximity to multiple ski resorts. Only 5 min. from Canaan Valley Resort, and 10 Min. from Timberline. If you like hiking, Dolly Sods is only 5min away as well.
