About this property
Hunter's Haven - 5 min from Soldotna!
A hunter's haven! This 3BR/2BA home is in a duplex nearly 5 minutes from Soldotna & decorated in a style I'll call 'feminized Alaskan hunting' with his trophies and my photos.

Our beds are: 2 Queens and 1 Full-size futon. Split level gives privacy on lower floor. There is 1 smart TV, washer and dryer.
We believe in sustainable, ethical, and regulated hunting. These animals are extremely personal, as he does his own taxidermy and processing.

Born and raised here in Soldotna, my grandparents used to have a sawmill. Most of my family has built from their own logs. After one excruciating summer of my dad attempting to make salmon jerky in my mom's oven, I swore off salmon for the next 15 years.
The hubby was born in Oregon, but raised up here. His hunting began with frogs that his mom would find in his pockets, but has turned it into one of the most amazing, appreciative, and ethical practices I've seen. He has been learning to do his own taxidermy and has an impressive method of seasoning and creating sausages. Apparently it's proprietary :)

Why they chose this property
It's set up to be functional! AND it's close to Fred Meyers for groceries.
When we were still dating, we lived here in Unit A. So we knew exactly what items we needed to leave for guests - and upgraded several things along the way.
