Overall it was a great stay. Our hostess Dennie was fantastic. The only reason not to have all 5 stars is that we found the living room seating, although aesthetically pleasant, not very comfortable to sit in.
We really enjoyed the two days we spent at the Serenity Log Inn! It was clean, cozy, and spacious for our family of two adults and three young children. We will recommend it to our friends and would definitely come again!
My husband, sister and I stayed here for three days two nights for my grandsons first birthday. The place was perfect for the three of us. It brought back memories of our childhood and mom who passed away last year. So comfortable and peaceful. My sleep app actually said this was the best sleep I’ve had in months.
This cabin was absolutely perfect for myself and small children. The cabin was large and had lots of room inside and out. The host was very communicative and friendly.
We really enjoyed ourselves...it was a unique cabin...it was so nice of the host to have everything we would need for breakfast...you dont usually get that...we had a great time with our grandaughter and her husband and got to meet our new great grandson
Great stay at this log cabin. Our host communicated everything well, replied promptly & courteously. Cabin was great, everything was clean and professional. There was even some nice music playing when we arrived!
The cabin was warm and cozy. It is a very peaceful place to stay. Denni, the host,
had it stocked so well! Our stay was wonderful and we’d love to come back. I highly recommend it.
This is a really original place a cabin that the pictures don’t do justice. Great host that is on the property and there when you need them. Close to lots of places to explore and places for food. Lovely place with the feel of being away and close enough for the comforts of the modern amenities.
The cabin was very clean , spacious , loved screened porch . When we arrived , very soothing - light music was playing , kitchen is stocked with all essentials . The host also provided for breakfast . Dennie is prompt in communication . Enjoyed our stay .
This place is so cute! Easy to get to, clean and great communication!! It was so sweet that they even left little snacks for us!! Will visit again if in the area!
We feel this cabin was the nicest cabin we have ever stayed in. It has both a large dining and living rooms. The scenery is beautiful. We would be happy to return in the future.
We loved our stay and are looking forward to coming back next year. The pictures do not do the cabin justice. It is so warm and cozy and you feel right at home. Our host, Dennie, was absolutely amazing. My husband and I cannot say enough nice things about our stay. Let me put it this way wish we could have stayed longer! Next year we will!!!!
Very beautifully decorated cabin. Loved all the extras. Breakfast food and snacks were a big plus. Beds were comfortable and she made sure we had what we needed. You don't need to bring much of anything. We had a wonderful time.

About the host
Hosted by Dennie
Hi, I'm Dennie. Welcome to Serenity Log Inn. You will love this historical authentic log cabin. This is a unique one-of-a-kind hand-built Lincoln Log style cabin with every log specifically designed for its placement. I have been hosting for four years and I love what I do. My aim is to make guest feel comfortable and be delighted to make Serenity Log Inn your home away from home!
Guest Interaction: I give my guests space but am available when needed. The cabin is equipped for your comfort and privacy. My living quarters are on the lower level in the mother-in-law quarters. Guests have their own private entrance. I work for the local school district and have an active social life so I'm not always on the premises but will be available to assist you with whatever you request via text messaging or email.
