Home has comfortable beds and plenty of room for the whole family. Close to downtown attractions. Home is older and has some quirks (doors don't close that well). Neighborhood is a little sketchy but we didn't have any issues.
AC was strong, 71 setting was plenty cool! All the kitchen amenities were there — very old home with significant renovation over the years — real character! Great location, lovely veranda out front for morning coffee or evening cocktails. We walked to dinner every night, with many excellent choices nearby. We had 7 from one company, attending a conference downtown, and with the comfortable couch serving as an extra bed, we were fine. The mattresses in the 4-bed bunk room are a little squeaky, so my guys used ear plugs to make it quieter. We would gladly return to this property for a group stay in San Antonio.
The house was comfortable and spacious and worked well for four of us and our dog. The neighborhood has a more urban, transitional feel, but the location is very convenient to The Pearl, downtown San Antonio, and the San Antonio River Walk. While the listing notes that it is within walking distance of The Pearl, we did not feel comfortable walking in the area, especially at night, and chose to drive instead. The outdoor space did not fully match the listing photos, especially the front yard, which appeared less maintained at the time of our visit. Communication with the host was good, and we appreciated the flexibility of a slightly earlier check-in.
Hosts were Awesome!! House was well appointed; with plenty of space for all of us. The surrounding area- not so great. Once the city gentrification/clean up is complete, the area will be much nicer and safer.
Lovely respite after a hot day of dorm move out.Enjoyed dinner at La Fonda highly recommend! The house was super clean and A/C worked great! Beds were comfy. Definitely will book again
Large house with plenty of room and three bedrooms. Somewhat dated and in a little disrepair but totally adequate for our needs. Walked to the Pearl during the day and a short Uber at night which was very convenient.
We were very impressed with the communication from Ryan (Todd) at this property. It needs some work but it was okay for us. Kitchen is awesome two king beds with super comfy bedding. Very close to most everything you’d want to see.
We had a great stay. Unfortunately the AC went out for our last night of stay but the host helped us try an fix the problem and the weather cooperated for the night. The place was perfect location and was roomy and clean! Nice, Nice, Nice!
This is a well-appointed family home, very spacious and extremely comfortable. I would suggest a repair on the "barn door" entrance into the master bathroom, but that's all! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with the world!

Accessible House
The house is conveniently located by the Pearl Brewery and downtown. Unfortunately, some of the streets downtown were under construction. We enjoyed eating dinner at “Josephine Street.”
This was in a great location for what we needed. The hosts were very prompt in replying to our messages and questions. They went above and beyond to help us with an item we left behind. Got in touch with us and shipped it to us at home. We really appreciated that kind gesture! Will definitely stay here again if we come back in the future!
Old friends (really old!) got together, as we try to do at least once every year. After searching for just the right place to stay, we found the perfect house on Grayson. The house is beautiful, reminding us that age can be appreciated. The location was great, so easily accessed from I 35. Our host was responsive. If the Lord allows us another opportunity for a get together, we’ll definitely look for this place next year.
Place was located close to the Pearl district wich was what we were looking for. House was nice but some of the doors need some maintenanceas either would not close or the sliding one to the bathroom sliding open by itself. .. not ideal. The immediate neighborhood was a bit sketchy but had no real issues. Overall was a nice big property and clean good for what we were needing.
The location was ideal for what we came to do and see. 10 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes from Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery and 15 minutes from The Riverwalk. Walking distance to some local bars and restaurants.
The house is older with a cute style, looks like they made some nicer upgrades; but could use some TLC. The bathroom doors didn’t stay shut or lock.
Pet friendly
It was right next door to an aids foundation so there were a lot of people in and out next door. Not sure if it was a shelter but could get a little loud at times.
Close distance to the train tracks
Location: older built neighborhood. Property is next to a HIV resource center. We had no issues but there were homeless persons sleeping out front of their building. There was multiple restaurants and bars that were walking distance.Property: nicely furnished renovated home. Original wood floors were nice to look at. There were some creaking boards and could be dusted better. But overall fine. Kitchen was had fully furnished tools and equipment. Lots of towels. Extra pillows. Soap and shampoos already there. Strong water pressure. Bedroom fans. We were all very pleased. The best part is the two king size beds and one bedroom with 4 beds in it. Worked well with our group of 8 men

Disappointing
The house served it’s purpose for our stay but I was glad we didn’t spend much time there. It was poorly cleaned overall. Surfaces and linens were good, but the walls had cobwebs in the corners, dirt filled baseboards and cabinets, old crusted hand soap dispensers, and lots of broken blinds. The house was obviously not remodeled well which lent to the dirty look. The house had all of the blinds wide open and the air conditioning was set very high when we arrived. The weather was over 100 degrees so it took us quite a bit of time to cool down the house as well.

It was a great space for size as well as location to the Pearl neighborhood. The street it was on was on the outskirts of a few businesses, so sometimes it was loud. There were also a lot of issues with the interior of the house that I will communicate with the hosts. A lot of doors would not close, there were cracks on the ceiling, and the dishwasher was not secured in its spot to name a few concerns. The check-in/out instructions were also a little lacking, though the host was very communicative once questions were asked. All-in-all, it was a good stay with positive vibes.
