Basement mother-in-law apartment. Private entrance through back. Watch your head on low points but it’s done tastefully with style.

This is the perfect getaway for traveling nurses and those looking for an extended stay in SLC! Come visit and see everything SLC has to offer!

You have the entire basement apartment of the home. You have no shared space (other than the backyard space. There will be guests in their own private space above you. You will have street parking only.

Family friendly neighborhood. Please don’t block driveways. Drive slowly as there are kids on the street.

We live nearby and are on this airbnb message thread if needed. We give our guests space as it’s a self checkin property.

Locals must message us before booking and agree to the house rules.

We are close to freeway access, state street to zip downtown, close to grocery stores, dining, slightly west of desirable sugarhouse!

Uber and Lyft are super efficient in Salt Lake City. Bus routes near.

Private basement unit.

People will have the rented space above you - please note that you will be able to hear the tenants above you.

Quiet hours 10pm-8am. (Respectful all hours of course)

We do not want to get a phone call from either our upstairs or downstairs guest letting us know that the other unit is being too loud. Please do your part. Also the house is remodeled but is older and the walls/floor/ceiling is not awesome at blocking noise. You will likely hear the floor creak and squeak from time to time and can hear the other unit people sometimes. Please be aware if this when booking. You may want to bring ear plugs in case (especially if you are a lite sleeper) this place is a really great place for those who need a home base yet who are out and about a lot.

Parking on street only (plenty available) don’t not block street or neighbors drive way. Please see checkin guide (after booking on arrival day) for photos of street parking.

Pet fee- this is added to your stay after you book with the alteration tool and it is $25 PER night, not per stay.

Utah is a high desert climate and as such there are house ants, occasional harmless spiders, or Box Elder bugs that are usually seen more during seasonal changes such as going from winter to spring or vice versa. As responsible hosts, we have agreed to a pest control contract with Uintah Pest Control to service all our properties. Sightings are rare, but are possible. An occasional sighting is not considered a reflection of the cleanliness of the property.
1) LOCALS MUST MESSAGE US BEFORE BOOKING.

2) Occupancy limits: We do not allow more than 5 guests in or this listing or on the property at any time, violation of which will result in the removal of all guests from the property immediately without refund. You also agree to pay for the `additional guest fee` associated with your reservation if applicable (just because it can sleep up to 5 doesn’t necessarily mean its all included in the nightly rate). You understand that this is located in a nice family neighborhood and you agree to be respectful of noise and quiet hours. 10pm-8am. The ceiling is the floor of the unit above you and does creek and squeak a bit. It’s an older house, remodeled beautifully but has some things that show its age like the noise carrying through the walls/floors.

3) This is a self checkin property: You certify that you are willing and able to follow the instructions that are being provided by Airbnb through the house manual or checkin guide. You can find our house manual and checkin guide here on the airbnb platform on our listing. You further agree to compensate the host/co-host in full for any financial loss that is suffered as a result of breaking of the rules set forth. You agree that you automatically authorize airbnb support to remove your review if you leave a review after breaking any rules listed on our description.

5) Retaliation Clause: You agree that you are booking in goodwill with your host/co-host and that you will not attempt to damage your hosts business because you are unhappy with a ruling by Airbnb or the host in the event that you experience anything that you perceive is dissatisfying during your stay or if a resolution is not decided in your favor. You also agree to cover all legal fees in the event that a court proceeding is needed.

6. Please remove shoes/boots as you enter the house. SKI Equipment and bike or other recreational equipment must be kept in our garage.

7. WE DO HAVE, AND DO MONITOR OUR EXTERIOR SECURITY CAMERA(s) for guest count compliance and for the safety of our property and that our our guests. :) The front and rear cameras on the main house, the side Cameras, and the back yard and garage cameras, are motion activated and can record video and audio.

8. Alterations/Changes: Once you have confirmed your booking, any modifications to the dates or guest count may be treated as a cancellation and therefore be subject to the cancellation policy. Host retains the right to charge for lost dates you have removed with an alteration at least at a partial amount to the discretion of the host.

9. Quiet hours are from 10 pm - 8 am.

10. Animal policy- we allow one small dog and charge a $25/day fee to help cover the short term rental insurance policy. This is not an extra cleaning fee and you are expected to leave no sign that a dig was onsite when you depart. It’s our Zero Impact Pet Policy.

Great Stay

We have stayed in this place for 2 weeks. The host, Adam was very responsive. The basement rent was clean and warm. it was good for long-term family stay. The location is effortless to access anywhere in SLC. I wish they could have 4 people dining table instead of 2 people tea table.

March Madness crash pad

A buddy and myself were in SLC for the NCAA basketball tournament. The Cozy Casa was a quick drive to the delta center and fit our needs perfectly. Great stay, but Samford was robbed on that call at the end of the game. No way was that a foul! Stay here with confidence!

Wonderful Week

I feel that this was a great trip. The host was v ery responsive to my inquiries and also took great feedback. Wonderful hosts and great handyman makes a great stay. This was a great day. The house were communicated. They were very nice. I had people come over and fix things. The only thing I would say is that this is not a place that most people who have disabilities I would recommend stay because it does have some steep stairs if you’re blind though you can do it you just need to pay attention to what you’re doing and go down the stairs hold the rail they were very responsive they were very understanding very caring.
