Truly had an amazing stay. We were able explore Acadia, while coming back to a place where the adults and kids could relax and have a great time together. The hosts were amazing as well and left us all necessary amenities and then some! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful Area and Property

One of my best VRBO stays. The location and property were perfect for all ages. Just outside the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor but with all the charm. A great area and property to explore. We felt welcome and the hosts clearly put a lot of thought into ensuring you would have what you need for an enjoyable, stress free stay.

Which was nice because you are far enough away but close enough to drive. The drive was always pretty. We stayed for a week, but could have stayed for a month.great food great house great. The hosts have a fully stocked home that is walk in ready. They provided many amenities that were unexpected and special. We had a group of 13 and this space provided a lot of large gathering areas. The location is private and off the beaten path and provided space for the kiddos to play and run freely.

Magnificent Maine family trip

We had such a wonderful time with our stay here. Everyone especially enjoyed riding around in the 4 wheel, 3 person bicycle! The kayaks were nice too! The hot tub was so relaxing in the evenings, and the family loved playing the out door games like corn hole. There were 11 of us, and we had plenty of room in the house. Wanda answered any questions we had in a very timely manner.

Family of 10 exploring Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. It was both relaxing and educational. The house was great for all ages. The young kids had fun on the playground and with the bikes, the teens enjoyed the kayaks and the paddle boards, the adults loved the gazebo and the hot tub!The host had so many special touches throughout the house with s'more fixins, bathrooms amenities, and cupcakes! The only critique we have, and it's hardly a critique, is we wish the beds were queen beds instead of fulls. This house is very special and made our trip especially memorable! The host puts a lot of love into making sure memories were made.

These hosts were great, provided everything we needed for a great stay. The property was exactly as advertised online. Spotless and clean and we took advantage of the many outdoor features…spacious deck, large hot tub, large fire pit with chairs and the lighted gazebo which came in handy when it rained. We rented in early June and the evenings were cool but plenty of heaters to make the outdoor space comfortable. All the bedrooms had individual air cond units. The property was nicely secluded. Our family enjoyed this property immensely! It met every need we had for a group of 16 with so many extras. The kitchen was well appointed and stocked with many extra treats for fun...the smores bar was well enjoyed by our teens! The bathrooms were stocked with many extras in case anything was forgotten. The teen bunk room was perfect and fun for all. We had fun biking to trails and kayaking/paddle boarding with everything included. It was a bit difficult getting in and out of the boats unless the tide was fully in but the more agile among us managed it! The hosts were easy to reach and communicate with which was very helpful. We also loved that it wasn’t in the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor but was close enough that we could still enjoy several days in that region. The Schoodic region has amazing hikes and trails that were beautiful and much less touristy! We would highly recommend this home to anyone!

Host rather difficult

Absolutely beautiful property, lots of actives for the kids, right on the water, includes hot tub. Many items were challenging to use; including outdoor heaters, hot tub, gazebo fireplace; with numerous propane tanks that were almost empty. Listing says parties/weddings with up to 30 guests. I had already spoken to them about this, so they were well aware. Accidentally unplugged the security system and got repeated phone calls within minutes, text messages and messages through VRBO that security system was unplugged and there were too many cars in the driveway and they were very concerned. This was pre-wedding with about 5 cars in the driveway. Many items broken or unsafe items in the home, including a railing on a bunk bed, living room coffee table; kitchen chair, etc. Many of the dishes available were unclean and reeked. Absolutely disgusting lobster pot. Was late for checkout by 1 hour as our daughter was sick. Reached out to host and their only response was we would now be charged an additional fee of 125 as supposedly the cleaning lady was already on their way and they need toBe notified within 24 hours of a later cleaning time. Would not rent from this host again.

Great Family Vacation!

We came to Maine to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday and our family had a fantastic stay at Wanda and Chuck's house! The attention to detail made the stay that much more enjoyable. Treats to greet us on our arrival, fully stocked kitchen, bathroom amenities, pirate play structure, a basement full of games and dvds...you name it, they've thought of it. There is entertainment for all ages - the arcade, pool table, and "smores gazebo" were a huge hit with the younger set and adults as well. The deck is a beautiful place to sit and enjoy nature, with heaters if the nights are a bit chilly. Chuck provided a guided kayak tour of the cove and pointed out local wildlife, including the nesting location for a bald eagle. There are plenty of kayaks (including 1 double) with life jackets for all sizes. We didn't get the opportunity to take the bikes for a spin, but were impressed that helmets were available for our use if we'd had time. The house was spotless and had 3 washer/dryer sets for us to do our laundry. There was plenty of space for our party of 10, aged 2 - 86. Bar Harbor is a 50 min drive, and there is also an entrance to Acadia National Park within a 15-min drive from the house. We highly recommend this home for families interested in exploring the area. Wanda was incredibly responsive to our questions and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was top-notch. Great hosts, great home - great vacation!

We live in New Hampshire and routinely are up in the area to help maintain and clean the homes. We are striving to make each house seem like a mini resort and therefore have numerous amenities at each site for our tenant's pleasure.

Each of my properties offer more amenities than anyone else in the area. No one includes kayaks, paddle boards, a s’mores bar for the kiddos and fire pit, a game room that require no coins and a large play yard
