Super cute space. Well laid out and comfortable. Everything you need for a great stay. The parking was clearly marked and instructions were easily to understand. I would stay here again!
A wonderful apartment in an incredibly peaceful setting. Beautifully decorated and very clean. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare a meal. The horses greeted us when we arrived and are very gentle and friendly. The owners have thought of everything and have made this a home away from home for their visitors. Can’t wait to book again.Thank you!!
This little farm was the perfect location for my sisters' weekend getaway! Close to Traverse City, Leelanau, and Sleeping Bear, and yet a peaceful retreat from busy days. Very comfortable and clean living space.
This was my second time staying at the Rosas. The cottage is great, quiet and comfortable with easy access to TC and everything the Leelanau has to offer. Highly recommend!
Lodging was as presented. Super cute and comfy. Lacked nothing. Quiet area (and could even visit with the farm animals if you so desire). Bed and couches very comfortable. A/C in main living area worked well. Instant hot water in sinks and shower. Shower had good water pressure. Full size fridge and dining table. Ceiling fans throughout.
These are not negatives, but something for light sleepers to keep in mind. The entire room is walled with windows. The window coverings are white screens and do not fully block out light. Also, there are decorative light bulbs along the outer roofline. They knock against the walls if the wind blows.
The location was awesome. We visited Empire, Glen Harbor, Traverse City, and of course Sleeping Bear Dunes Nat’l. Lakeshore. Lots to see and do near this lodging.
Loved this quiet, quaint get away just minutes from Traverse City, wineries, restaurants and Sleeping Bear Dunes.
The accommodations were perfect. Truly the photos don’t do it justice. The space is larger than appears and extremely functional. The place was spotless ( and I am a bit picky). We had all necessary items to cook breakfasts every day. We were even welcomed with a bottle of wine from a local winery and tickets for free tasting. Last but not least our little dog loved frolicking in the yard. And I loved the friendly, gentle horse in the next yard! Would absolutely stay again!
Roof had two leaks we had to use containers and the space is very small as it rained the entire weekend.
The grass area was full of dog poop (owner admitted it was their dog) my husband stepped in it and we got some on our corn hole boards.
At first the owner offered to credit us then later 3 days after we left we were blamed for things we did not do.
I have stayed at many vacation homes and never had that happened.
Also strong smell from the horses as you share a wall with them
This was a lovely setting & location that worked well for our daughter's wedding at Gallagher Farms. We weren't sure what to expect when we drove in as it's on the back side of the barn. It exceeded our expectations as you enter and find high ceilings that just opened the space right up. We were near to everything we needed. It was a bonus to sit outside in the morning drinking my coffee with a horse in the pasture nearby. We would definitely stay here again.
We had a wonderful stay at the Rosa’s property. The lodgings are super cute and everything was very clean and exactly as described. The property is very peaceful but close enough to traverse city and sleeping bear lakeshore to allow for easy access to a bunch of different activities. The horses were fun to watch and friendly :) Katy was very gracious and super responsive in her all her messages. I would recommend this place!

Its in a barn
It was decorated very cute. But the listing should say its in a lean too in our barn next to horses. Also in our backyard and we will be in and out everyday. For the money it wasn't private and there is just a window airconditioner in the wiindow. So it got pretty hot. The mattress was ok. No box spring under it. Its cute just not worth the money we paid. &2,000 for 6 days is alot.
I came for two nights to get away from downstate teacher life stresses and this space was just what I needed! The owners are wonderful and truly put love and care into making this space relaxing, quiet, and comfortable. This was my first time using VRBO and this location was beyond my expectations. The horses, sunrise, and sunsets were just stunning. Thank you for this hidden gem and I will happily be returning again soon!
Such a great place to stay. Very clean and we loved the farm setting! Would definitely stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay. Didn't expect the apartment to be so nicely put together. Had everything I could want and more. The farm was quiet, and relaxing and I couldn't have wished for a better place to stay for the weekend.
We had a wedding in Maple City,MI and needed a nearby place to stay. Katy’s place was perfect for us! Located on a farm, the decor, cleanliness and her attention to detail went beyond my expectations. Her place is conveniently located with close proximity to Traverse City, Glen Arbor and many local wineries. She was very responsive and I would recommend her place to anybody.
Tastefully decorated and comfortable stay in a relaxed farm setting. Close to downtown Traverse, great winery and tea farm. We just loved the space, setting and outdoor area. Nice, quiet and private. Highly recommend for a couple with a dog. We will definitely be back!
Katy and Mark have a wonderful space. Clean, quiet, and cozy. The accomodations were lovely for our family to share the studio space. Very close to Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes and all kinds ox beautiful beaches. Awesome places to visit very close by , Light of day tea farm, Moomery creamery, and Rove vineyard. We would definitely recommend and may stay again if we ever venture this way again!
This is a wonderful cottage, private, clean and beautifully decorated. We had a delightful week long stay, and it was a perfect location for visiting with family and checking out the gorgeous trails and beaches on the peninsula. The cottage was peaceful and quiet, with plenty of space for lounging while reading a book and rolling out a yoga mat for daily practice. The kitchen had everything we needed for dinners, and we look full advantage of the gas grill and patio area. I am a light sleeper and with the air conditioner found getting a restful night of sleep very easy. My dog and I loved walking the little yard area and watching the sun rise and set over the beautiful pasture and trees that surround the cottage. Katy and Mark are such attentive and responsive hosts, we so appreciated their warm welcome and help throughout our stay. Perfectly situated halfway between Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes/Lake Michigan - would definitely book again!

Super cute apartment! Very clean. Katy was a fabulous host and truly thought of everything. If we are ever back in the area, would definitely stay there again.
My husband, 14 year old son, and I stayed here for 2 nights while visiting the Sleeping Bear / Traverse City area. It was a perfect place in terms of the property but also the location. We didn’t want to leave! The rental was beautiful and roomier than we expected. The space in the kitchen / dining area makes it very livable for 3 people. The setting on the farm was relaxing and a world away from Traverse City crowds / hassles. We very much enjoyed the little patio area outside. The furnishings are extremely comfortable and cozy and the kitchen was stocked with every amenity we needed. The location provided easy, convenient access to all the areas we wanted to explore (Sleeping Bear dune climb, sailing excursion in W Traverse Bay, golf, Empire Bluff and other hikes, brew pubs in Traverse City Warehouse District, and more. So fun!) We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Beautiful, quiet, peaceful property. Wonderful location between downtown traverse and the west coast. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen had all we needed for storing and preparing meals. The host was incredibly responsive and accomodating. My 2 year old loved the large barn and chickens on the property
