Beautiful 1 BR Unit on the Boardwalk with a Pool!!

There is something magical about staying in an ocean front building but even more so when that building is also located on the boardwalk. Start your mornings with a bike ride or walk down the boardwalk and have breakfast at one of the wonderful waterfront restaurants. Not in the mood to exercise? Pour yourself a cup of coffee and enjoy the water views from your balcony. Either way, your day is starting out great! From there, get your things together and enjoy the short walk to the beach as you enjoy your fun filled day of splashing in the waves. If the sand isn’t your thing, you’ll love the indoor pool. As the sun sets, the boardwalk comes alive. There is shopping up and down the boardwalk and food options galore! You’ll love watching the talented street performers and kids will love the arcades. Be sure to go to the inlet and enjoy the amusements and rides. The huge Ferris wheel is always a must see!

Located off of 12th Street, you will be strategically located and really don’t even need a car as the bus stop is close and the tram runs up and down the boardwalk. There are numerous fantastic restaurants nearby such as Shenanigan’s, Brass Balls Saloon, Barn 34, Sahara Café and our favorite the Spain Wine Bar. After dinner, you’ll enjoy plenty of great entertainment such as mini golf, go carts, paint ball and of course the numerous bars that have some of the best music around.

You’ll love staying in this unit with its recent updates. There is new flooring throughout, new bedroom furnishings, newer kitchen table and living room. The kitchen has updated cabinetry, countertops, and appliances. There is a washer/dryer for guest use and of course free Wi-Fi.

* This is a non-smoking/ non-vaping unit.
* Sorry no pets allowed.
* This unit does not rent to graduating seniors or to parents renting on behalf of graduating seniors. Sorry, no exceptions. All individuals in a non-family group must be a minimum of 25. The minimum age for groups increases to 30 on holiday weekends.
* This condo is on the 5th floor. Decatur House does have an elevator.
* One uncovered parking spot is provided. Unassigned spots are available on a first come/ first serve basis as well as open street parking.
* The indoor pool is open between from May 1st- October 10th
(We cannot control when any amenity closes due to an emergency or for standard maintenance.)
* Beachfront/ boardwalk building.
* The boardwalk runs from the inlet to 27th street. This condo is on 12th street.
* This unit includes bed linens, towel sets, hotel quality bathmats and kitchen hand towels.
* We provide a welcome packet which includes toilet paper and 1 roll of paper towels, dish washing liquid, and dishwasher pods.
* No extra stop at a separate office location required. Guests will receive complete check-in information via email prior to arrival.
* TV's can be a combo of cable and/or streaming. TV viewing options are chosen by the property owner.
* The sleep total of 4 is the maximum occupancy allowed, including children and infants.

The place was fantastic and communication with the hose was impeccable. The location is close enough to the end of the boardwalk that it is easy to walk and for being on the boardwalk it was very quiet.The only issue with the property is the pool area needs some work from the building manager and this is not on the host to correct.Out next trip we would definitely consider rebooking here if the dates are available.

Room 504 was absolutely amazing. We’ve been coming to Ocean City for some time now and this will be our go to for know on. When we got to the room it was so cool that they had just about everything you need. So we made sure we left a few items to add to that list. I think it’s in the perfect location for everything we enjoy. And we can’t wait till next visit.

Property is very old and some of the exterior is in need of updating. Inside of the unit was updated and in good condition. Price was pretty high for the age of the property. I didn’t like that communication was through a site that I needed to set up username and password…. I wasn’t able to easily access my check in information upon arrival because of this additional log in

Pros:CleanSmelled fresh and clean Kitchen well equipped Get sanitized sheets/bath towels in plastic so dont have to wonder if sheets and towels are clean.Great location Loved the balcony Cons:Pool was gross and needs a lot of repair work. Pool area was also not kept clean. Garbage and bottles on floor and the cushions to sit on were filthy.The unir was SMALL. Too small for 4 people. Very narrow inside. Pull out bed was about 1 inch thick

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The units are small, but we’ve stayed in this building before so we knew what to expect. The elevator has no a/c and is super slow. The access to wheeling the carts or wagons into the building is pretty difficult. You have to walk up onto the boardwalk and then back around. The kitchen had a pretty bad smell. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt and ran the disposal with hot water with dish soap, but it didn’t go away and lingered for our whole stay. There were tons of air fresheners set up trying to mask it. It was fine overall.

Great spot

We stayed during the off season and it was just what we were looking for. Close to so many restaurants and a great spot on the boardwalk. The balcony was a nice size to sit and relax.

Great condo, great owner. The condo was very clean and had a great view. The location is fabulous. Perfect space for a couple to visit OC.
