About this property

Ski, Play, Work

Hike, Bike, Golf, Ski, Snowboard, Sundance - Relax!

Our mountain chalet is just the place for beautiful mountain views and mountain air in a cozy, relaxing and private setting. Our home is in a perfect location to enjoy a day of hiking, biking, golfing or fishing in the summer and fall, and skiing at the Park City Mountain Resort, the Canyons, or Deer Valley in winter. Only 15 minutes to Old Town Park City. Or drive 40 minutes down to Salt Lake to ski Snowbird, Solitude, Alta or Brighton. Our home is located on a quiet cul-de-sac - great for groups and families with kids who like to play outside. If you just want to relax, read a good book and soak in the hot tub, no need to even leave the comfort of the house. Wireless Internet connection is also available if you need to keep up with work.

Ammenities include a 7 person hot tub for a soak any time of the year. You will also enjoy a gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless appliances, and a gas island cook top. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for any kind of meal. Hardwood floors in the bedrooms and slate floors throughout the rest of the house. The house has four bedrooms that can comfortably sleep 8 people. Two bedrooms have queens, 1 bedroom has a full and the other room has two single beds. If you have more than 8, we do have two very comfortable couches and air mattresses. All linens are included. Two bedrooms have TV's with cable. The great room has a 40' HD flat screen TV.

The surrounding Summit County countryside offers splendid beauty, historic attractions, and fun for the entire family. Our mountain chalet is a great place to refresh your mind, body, and spirit...any season of the year. Summers are even more beautiful than the winters! You may even see the local moose that occasionally visit in our backyard.

About the host

I volunteered for the 2002 Winter Olympics in Utah and fell in love with the area. I purchased the house and completely gutted and renovated it. Now we want to share our little mountain escape with others when we are not there to enjoy it.

Why they chose this property

Summit Park is a small neighborhood full of locals, not out of town skiers and renters. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful.

What makes this property unique

Some of the unique benefits of this house are the great views and the privacy. We love the location of this house because it's in a bit more remote than the busy Old Town Park City area. We almost always see a moose in the neighborhood when we visit. We also love the fact that the main part of the house is all on one level. We have some great hiking and biking trails we use in the neighborhood and we don't have to even drive anywhere.
