The home is nestled in a serene neighborhood that invites peaceful walks through the forests and along the river. Poughkeepsie is nearby meaning tasty local restaurants and charming shops are always just a short drive away.

We are located at the end of a short private road and not visible from the rest of the quaint, established neighborhood. On approach you will be discover a mysterious black barn-like structure. Follow the path to the wrap-around deck to be greeted with walls of glass and a beautiful view of the trees and creek.

Flowing from the deck is a spacious open-plan living and dining space with a modern and efficient kitchen; two queen bedrooms with built-in closets- one with ensuite bathroom; a bunk room sleeping a further two guests; another bathroom with a tub; and a laundry room. The whole house has underfloor heating, which heats the polished concrete floors and radiates a cozy heat. In warm weather, large screened casement windows and sliding doors naturally ventilate the interior. High speed Wi-Fi, Apple TV, Nest thermostat and key-free access bring modern technology to the countryside.

Uber and Lyft both operate in Poughkeepsie and there are also local taxis waiting at the train station.
