Nestled right outside of Rocky Mountain National Park and the Grand Lake town center, our home provides solitude and scenery that is second-to-none with incredible views. Explore the lakes for boating and fishing or head up to Rocky Mountain National Park to view wildlife and for a hike or bike ride. We often see deer, moose, elk, bears, mountain lions and foxes right outside the windows of our home.

Our spacious home has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including updated finishes, comfortable furniture, high-speed Internet, and modern electronics. The house includes a spacious dining area, fully-equipped kitchen and a cozy living area that provides ample room for you to lounge in front of the fireplace. In the summertime, you can lounge in the sun on one of our 3 decks and gather round the gas fire pit on the deck. It truly is mountain retreat.

Grand Lake is located in the heart of the Rockies and is a gem. It has a friendly, local atmosphere and plenty to explore. During the summer season, there are music, art, and food festivals. Come winter we are host to world-renowned skiing and other outdoor snowy activities like cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, tubing, snowshoeing, and dog sled rides to name a few. If you'd like specific recommendations, reach out to us and we're happy to share our favorites!

Our home is stocked with all your household essentials, high-quality sheets and towels, and laundry detergent, trash bags, dish soap, tissues, etc.

About the host

We are Rick and Bobbi. We've lived in Colorado for 14 years and we love the skiing, biking, and hiking with our dogs.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this cabin because we wanted to be minutes away from hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, road cycling (up through Rocky Mountain National Park (stunning views!)), mountain biking, paddle boarding and even disc golfing.

From the cabin, you can also hike down to the Colorado River.

This is our retreat!

What makes this property unique

It's hard to beat this for a retreat! It's quiet, beautiful, surrounded by stunning views of the Continental Divide, soaring mountains, wildlife, and beautiful lakes!
