Covered By Faith Rentals is proud to offer having the ability to walk to St. Mary's or the Clinic is a blessing in itself. Also having restaurants, a mall and grocery stores close by is convenient. Only a couple of blocks off the main highway 52 make this house easy to find and get to. There are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom on the main floor. All 3 bedrooms have queen sized beds. We have a bed side rail and a pack n play. 1 bathroom downstairs. There is a full sized couch and TV downstairs as well if you can't do steps. If this house is full please check out one of our many additional houses downtown.

The kitchen is equipped with a full size refrigerator/freezer, oven/range and cooking utensils, Keurig and regular 12 cup coffee makers, small electric appliances, a pot/pan set, baking pans, glassware, cutlery, Corelle dishware, plastic dishware for kids and a high chair, and also some paper plates for you to use due to the lack of a dishwasher. A basic selection of cooking spices and condiments is stocked in anticipation of your arrival.

There is a 'Smart' TV which has several apps to access YOUR personal Netflix, Amazon Prime, or other personal streaming TV accounts. There is high speed wireless internet service available throughout the house. There are alarm clocks at each bedside. Please also check out the assortment of DVDs, board games, jigsaw puzzles, and books for your use. There is central air and heating in the house. The bathroom has a full bath with shower. There is a smart TV in the master bedroom and a DVD player.

In the basement there is a full size washer and dryer for you to use. There is an iron and ironing board available for you use. There is also a full sized couch that reclines on both ends and TV with a dvd player. There is high speed internet. Many guests work and attend school while staying with no problems.

No smoking is allowed in the house. Please use the back yard if you need to smoke. We have a rental certificate to rent this home legally to you.

Check in states 4pm but most likely you will be able to get in early. We will message you through VRBO when the house is available to you.

We have been serving in the business industry since 2003. We are covered by faith and trust in Him. God has led us to this home to help you with your needs. Covered By Faith is run by a family not a cooperation. We care about you and your stay in Rochester. This house is a Blessing to our family and to the other families who have been able to stay here thus the name "Blessing House".

This home has easy access to Mayo. It worked well for our short stay. Jessica was gracious to let us have an early check-in after an all night stay in the ER. Any issues were promptly addressed.

Mayo Clinic St Mary’s Pet Friendly

Very few properties allow for a small pet… which we have a 12 lb hyper-allergenic (non-shedding) mini Golden Doodle… You pay extra…(assumed it was for the extra cleaning effort they would provide, but sadly Not. Booked house had dog hair all over bed comforters and stains in that main bedroom comforter… host had alternative properties and worked with us to move to an adjacent smaller property- but easier for me to clean and my wife didn’t swell up from allergies instantly. Spent 2 hours mopping, dusting and wiping all the hair and dirt off the floors, furniture and baseboards to make the second home tolerable… ran the comforters through dryer on a hot cycle to remove any pet hair and somewhat sanitize. Behind and below furniture and beds was caked with dirt and pet hair. Showed host pictures and videos for feedback as to lack of cleaning. In general, house(s) were decently kept, but host indicated it is tough to find people to clean… ( I had hoped there was at least a credit for a cleaning or pet fee since the house was 100X cleaner when we left…;-(

We chose this VRBO because it advertised being “3 blocks” from Mayo Clinic Hospital – Saint Marys Campus. In reality, it is closer to 8–10 city blocks. For most, that may be an inconvenience. For us, it was a major issue. My husband is a veteran in a wheelchair and I am an amputee. The route also includes steep hills, making access far more difficult than represented.When I contacted the owner, they offered to let us out of the 20-day stay, we did search to but there was no immediate alternative housing, and knowing this owner manages 18 properties in the area, we were concerned about moving only to end up in another one of their rentals in similar condition. We chose to stay and deal with what we knew.The home was not clean. There were dirty dishes in the cabinets and dog waste throughout the yard. The property is in disrepair—loose toilet sear, the other was a barely functional non-working toilet, and appliances not functioning properly. We documented a long list but chose not to pursue it further after being told our dissatisfaction was due to our “situation.”This company presents their properties as a “blessing” and leans on faith-based messaging to build trust. That was not our experience. This stay was not a blessing—it was a lesson. Future renters, especially those with accessibility needs, should verify distance, terrain, and condition carefully before booking

We needed to be in Rochester for my mom’s annual visit with her specialist. Because of COVID we needed to be there 2 nights and 3 days with a surprise snow storm. Location, amenities and the power of God in every room. Will definitely utilize these properties for our next visit.

Unfortunately, we did not feel as comfortable as we would have liked given the overall cleanliness. There were dirty dishes and glasses in the cupboard. The place is a little worn and could use some sprucing up. The owner was very friendly and responsive.

Very comfortable

Overall we were very pleased with the house and the property manager. It is a very comfortable house with everything we needed. Nothing fancy which we prefer. Would definitely stay in again.

Darin and I (Jessica) came to Rochester in 2000 after graduating from college at Bethany Lutheran College and at Minnesota State University of Mankato. We both come from small towns in Minnesota. We lived in California for two years from 2001-2003. We purchase our first home in 2003 in Rochester. We joined a church the same year. I also started my own online book business that same year as Darin continued working in the technology industry. We had our first child, Isabella, in 2005 and the blessings of children began and so did my second job of being a stay at home mom. We had Bryce in 2006. My health wasn't in the best shape to continue having children. When I was able to, we decided to try for Olivia and in 2010 she arrived. In 2011 Elana completed our family. She began Kindergarten in 2017, so it was my time for my next adventure of care taking by starting Covered By Faith short term living.

Why they chose this property

Our adventure began as follows. I said a prayer to God asking him "if I was suppose to start this business to help people, I will need a house" and in 2 hours we had the phone call stating we got our house. It was a week prior we looked at the house and never even put a bid on the house due to the price. God provided this business to me to help you.

Having the ability to walk to St. Mary's or the Clinic is a blessing in itself. Also having restaurants, a mall and grocery stores close by help. Only a couple of blocks off the main highway 52 make this house easy to find and get to.

Quarry Hill Nature Center is 4.6 miles away. Kutzky Park is only .4 miles away. Skyline Raceway (Go-Karts, Mini-Golf, Panning) is 5.5 miles away. Colonial Lanes Bowling is 1.6 miles. Bowlocity Entertainment is 3.3 miles away (Bowling, Arcade, Laser Tag). Rental at 800 West Silverlake Dr. NE, Rochester is only 2 miles away which has self-propelled boats on the river, canoeing or kayaking down the Zumbro River, or biking through the city. Here is the map for bike trails Restaurants are only .8 miles, Caribou Coffee is .8 miles away, HyVee groceries is 1.5 miles away, Walgreens is also 1.4 miles away. There are also little libraries around the neighborhood. Miracle Mile Shopping Center is .9 miles, there are also shops in the subways under Mayo which is 1.5. miles away, and Apache mall is 1.8 miles.

There are bus routes throughout the city and we do have lime scooters to use throughout the city not during the winter months.
