We have used our 30 years of experience visiting Hawaii to give you everything you need for a fantastic vacation. Treat yourselves right on this very special vacation occasion, you deserve this!

● Waikiki Grand Hotel Plumbing Construction Notice:
To ensure the long-term comfort of our guests, the Waikiki Grand Hotel will be undergoing vital plumbing improvements from mid-July through late December 2026, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. With no work on Weekends, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas Day. Daytime noise and activity should be expected.
● Please note that our rates have already been significantly discounted for this period, and no additional discounts before, during or after will be given. If you’re planning to spend your daytime relaxing inside the hotel, we recommend checking dates outside this window to ensure you have the best experience possible.
● Since most of the activity occurs during the day, it’s the perfect excuse to spend your 8-to-5 hours exploring the beauty of Waikiki Beach, hiking Diamond Head, or enjoying local excursions!

· This condo has an ocean & beach view, unit is 215²ft and priced accordingly.
It is ideal for solo travelers or couples who travel light and comfortable with sharing intimate space.
· Closing the window will help in reducing noise level. But please understand we are steps from the world-famous Waikiki Beach! The ocean view is just across from the busy Kalakaua Ave. Gladly most of our guests find no problem at all.
· At the end of trip, for guest who have any item they would like to leave for future guests (chair, boogie board, etc) please kindly bring to front desk.
Please DO NOT leave them in the closet or the unit, so our next guest can fully utilize the space.
· For guests who have any issues during stay, we have the front desk staff there to assist 24/7.
We also have a professional management team that responds to our guests in a prompt manner. For guests who send a request/question, please check and refresh VRBO app often for response.

The location and the views are great. There are beach chairs, an umbrella, and boogie boards on the balcony. The space is small but perfect for a couple. We had 5 suitcases and managed just fine.We paid for the parking and it was right outside the rear lobby door, #9.The short walk to the beach, the restaurants, and shopping is so convenient.We enjoyed watching a hula practice and a praise and worship session in the park below from our balcony.

We booked this room for 14 nights. Is this a fancy resort? No, but that is not what this is advertised as. I’m the type of guy that is hardly in the room, so we didn’t want a fancy place for 4-5 nights, we wanted to see the beauty of the island for as long as possible. The only thing you need to be aware of is that the street below the room is busy and can get loud, so bring earplugs if you need to. I would definitely rent this room again. The view of the crater and the ocean are absolutely stunning.

Nice place very convenient. It’s a little outdated and the faucets have very little water pressure. There is a fair amount of street noise. Would stay again for a short stay of 3-4 days. It is a smaller unit which was totally fine with us but may be an issue for some people

This place was misleading and dirty.I checked out 2 hours after I checked in. I found hair in the bed. The kitchen was a dirty hot plate on the 3rd shelf of the bathroom and the patio door didn't lock. Talked to the front desk and they could care less. Never here again and lost my trust in vbro

Wonderful stay and the views of Diamond Head, the ocean and Kapiolani Park are outstanding. Yes, there is street noise during the day, but at night with the lanai doors closed and AC we both slept soundly. Coffee pods and creamers made for an enjoyable sunrise on the lanai. Comfortable bed and the front desk was very responsive to any of our requests. Quite frankly, I've stayed in other condos at twice the price and no views. As a retired flight attendant, I'm particular with my lodging choices and the Waikiki Grand checks all the boxes!

Small room but perfect for a solo traveler. It’s right by the beach. The Hula’s bar/nightclub is also in the same building, which is fun. A highlight of the room is opening the French doors and enjoying the balcony views. Photo attached was an amazing sunset from the balcony!

The location is great. It’s so close to the beach and has great views of diamond head and the ocean. It’s a great budget option and the balcony was nice. Some of the fixtures of the room are a bit older and it wasn’t the cleanest place. Some sheets and towels had permanent stains and there was someone else’s hair on the bed and sheets when we arrived. The kitchen area hadn’t been thoroughly checked and the soy sauce had mold growing in it. Otherwise, everything was good.

The air conditioner was very loud when it turned on, it was also quite useless, too old, likely needed filter cleaned. This unit is also one that has not been refurbished, so when you shower, the tub fills with water and takes 3 or 4 hours top drain

Wonderful Stay!

Fantastic location! Gorgeous view! Within walking distance to beach, zoo, shops and restaurants. Older building, bathroom door was difficult to open and close and windows were more like shutters so you could hear cars, radios and talking on busy street below late into the night. But I would say it was worth it given all of its positive points.

Location was great to walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, bus stop. Staff at front desk were friendly and informative. Nice to have free ice machine and paid laundry in the building basement. I enjoyed sitting on my balcony each morning overlooking the beach and zoo area. I had a cool drink at night on the balcony and did some people watching down below. The room is quiet except for the rare music-blasting car that might drive on Kapahulu. I never heard my building guests at all.

The location was great for getting to the bus to go anywhere. There are some really great street food venders all within walking distance. The street traffic was pretty loud. We didn't realize the window section was louvered. So loud noise was heard a lot until 11pm. The balcony was nice, it was warmer than normal during our visit.We didn't use it much for that reason.It is a nice setup, if there was better sound buffering we would stay again.

Very small room, felt like a hotel room. 2 ppl stayed in my group and it was very tight. Great location being close to the beach and a wonderful balcony. Hot water wasn’t working correctly during our stay. Great choice if you plan to spend very little time in the room. Bed was comfortable.
