Stay in our recently renovated lakefront cabin with a bunkhouse and plenty of outdoor space. The cabin sits on a quiet dirt road in a cove on Crystal Lake. It includes an outdoor patio, fire pit, and a private shallow dock for your boat or fishing. The bunk house provides a second bedroom. A short paddle with one of our kayaks or paddle boards that are available to our guests to the sandbar offers a much better swim. The outdoor space allows for hiking, exploring, or water fun. When the sun sets the cove provides a calmness to replay the scenes of the day’s events with the sounds of the loons and noises of the cove.

A very relaxing getaway. The bed and pillows were comfortable. It was so quiet and peaceful. A ceiling fan on the screen porch during warm days would be nice. Thank you for your hospitality!
My wife and I loved our time here. The lake is so peaceful and the cabin was perfectly suited for us. If we had cause to come back to the area I wouldn't hesitate to book it again! We didn't bring our kids this time around but I think they would really love the bunk room and all the available activities.
My husband and I were very pleased with the quiet and clean cabin. The weather was great for the month of May. We loved the screened in porch and the fact that we had kayaks to use right on the property.
The only drawback was that you had to go to the sandbar for swimming as the cove was a bit marshy.
We would definitely consider coming again.
The large screened porch where we could eat, play games, watch the sky, water and wildlife, and hear the wind in the trees (or the rain on the roof), was our favorite part of the cabin. The kitchen was excellent as was the grill - we used them extensively. The online photos do not do justice to the comfortable bedroom and upgraded bathroom. We were surprised by how much was available for us to use as water sports - kayaks, standup, fishing gear and (our favorite) the paddleboat. We also took advantage of the firepit after dark. We certainly hope to be back next year.
When we first came across the Lakeside cabin of Theresa & Cal,
We wondered over taking it, and soon said, "oh yes we shall,"
Upon entering this quaint site on the shores of Crystal Lake,
It was apparent everything was genuine, nothing seemed fake,
All was tidy and neat, nothing seemed out of place,
So fresh and clean, right down to each pillowcase,
The options for the Lake were varied and plentiful,
Absolutely nothing disappointed us, nothing was lamentable,
As it then approached Fall, heading into latter September,
We were able to add a few more Treasured moments we shall always remember,
So let others take our advice
And make this Cabin your next visit to Paradise.....
The house was exactly what we were looking for! It was so clean and had a great layout. The house felt really private and the area seemed pretty quiet and peaceful, no noisy neighbors. Our older kid loved having the bunk house as a bedroom. And the screened in porch was the most perfect and comfortable place for us to have all of our meals. I was a little worried about the lake when we first arrived. The house is located in a grassy part of the lake. But it is a quick boat ride to the sandbar and a little further to a rocky island for swimming. And taking the boats there made swimming more of an adventure! This house really had EVERYTHING we needed to enjoy the weekend. The kitchen is stocked with all the equipment we needed, the grill was great, and the fire pit gave us a place to relax at night. I would highly recommend this home!
This is just the type of cabin I have been trying to rent for the past few years. It is quaint and cozy, beautifully appointed and not too small! Very comfortable with an amazing lake view! I loved sitting on the screened porch for all meals, reading and playing games with my kids. It is serene, peaceful and relaxing. To have access to the water right outside the door was exactly what I wanted! We really appreciated having access to the kayaks, inner tubes, paddle boat and paddle board and we did used them as much as we could. It rained a lot during our week stay but that did not dampen our spirits- we were out and about sightseeing, visiting the local eateries and patronizing the small town businesses. This cabin is very clean, neat and delightfully decorated with comfortable bedding and furniture. It is almost all inclusive- bring your clothes and food and you're all set! I could not ask for more!

About the host
Hosted by Theresa Hunnewell
Our family lives in the area. We purchased our cabin about 13 years ago. We have loved spending time at the lake when our children were younger.
Why they chose this property
Crystal Lake has wonderful memories for me. I moved to this area when I was a kid and stayed on the lake when I first moved to NH. The lake is quiet, crystal clear and very peaceful. The location is perfect. You are far enough away from the busy traffic and bustle of everyday, but close enough to go in to Lebanon or Hanover for dinner, White River Jct. to see a show, adventure north to the White Mountains or over the river to see Quechee Gorge or Woodstock Vermont.
What makes this property unique
Our cabin is very quiet and peaceful. We are located on a private dirt road surrounded by woods and the beautiful lake, making our location amazing. We have many fond memories of our cabin as our family loved playing at the sandbar for hours every summer.
